I bought 2 of these and they both stopped cooling in early May, but I wasn't able to get support until 7 days after the warranty. The support tech seemed to indicate he knew what was wrong with them and what part they would need, leading me to believe this is a manufacture defect. The fact that 2 of them, purchased at the same time, and both broken in the same way also indicates this. I also have some build quality issues like the cheap Equator stickers. I'd buy from a more reputable brand if I had to do it over again.

I purchased an Equator washer-dryer combo because it was the only unit that fit my space and had the correct hookups. However, since just three months after purchase, I have experienced repeated malfunctions, including overheating, burning smells, and auto shut-off failures. These issues pose a serious safety hazard, yet Equator Appliances has been completely unresponsive to my multiple attempts to seek assistance. The dryer overheats to the point of being dangerous, and I have even burned my finger on the metal inside. Despite multiple repairsboth under warranty and out of pocketthe problems persist. Most recently, the dryer overheated again and melted the belt. After purchasing a replacement part directly from Equator and spending eight hours installing it, the dryer still would not function properly. I have also had to vacuum excessive lint buildup inside the unit every few months, which is highly unusual and suggests a design flaw.I have called customer service multiple times, sent several emails, and even attempted to leave a review on their websiteonly to have my review deleted. At this point, I have spent significant time and money trying to keep this unit operational. I live alone and cannot afford to replace a machine that should have lasted much longer.I understand that my unit is out of warranty, but given the number of safety issues and persistent malfunctions, I believe Equator Appliances has a responsibility to address this issue. I am seeking a resolutionwhether that be a replacement unit or another fair solution. At the very least, I expect a response to my concerns.I am filing this complaint because Equator Appliances has refused to acknowledge or address my issue through normal customer service channels. I hope the company will do the right thing and offer a reasonable resolution.

Awful terrible company producing half ass designs out of a garage. Company barely has 50 employees. Customer service is awful. They do not call or when they do it’s 5x in one day to go through troubleshooting tips 2 weeks after you filled out a contact form. I’ve read people getting machines without parts. Repair people refusing to work on them because equator doesn’t pay them. When equator scheduled service and the tech called me “oh yeah man, I know these are absolute shit for a product.” ?? company isn’t BBB accredited. Obviously half baking a washer and dryer in your garage doesn’t make you an appliance engineer or good business person. Shut this company down!!!

Bought a space saving stackable washer and dryer for our rv, 3 weeks after purchase the washer was leaking water from the door seal very bad and soap tray. Contacted the company they sent a service tech out to repair washer. Tech tried to contact the tech department for info he had to leave his name and number , it took 5 - 7 hours for the tech department to get back with him therefore it took him 12 1/2 hours to replace a door seal because it was so different from any other front load washer. 6 weeks later the dryer died. This product is junk!! If I could give a minus rating it would be a minus 20 .

I have tried over and over and over to reach their "customer service" department with no luck. No one in any department--sales, service, support, answers the phone. This company is a joke and their products are *****

I purchased the Equator Washer/Dryer Unit which I received in October 2023. After about 4 weeks I noticed a leak coming from the soap dispenser. Ok, Make the call to appliance desk but thinking this a new unit (why) is this leaking ?? So, Tech comes down replaces a couple of parts. So far no leak, but wait for it !!!! Now there is NO heat coming from the dryer !! You've got to be kidding!! Right !! Just when you think the shark is out of the water !! So, here I go again. This unit has been a thorn in my side since I got it !! I'm now waiting to hear from ********* **** yet again. Its like having a big toy with parts just waiting to break !! I found this on line at **** ***** and ordered it at the store itself ! I paid a lot of money for two pieces of junk ! and have had it ! No one should have to go through something like this when buying a brand new appliance of any kind. ! If I didn't have to put this (1) star I wouldn't.

I bought a washing machine from this company that has not worked from day one. They sent me a new door latch that I replaced as the door would not lock. I replaced that and did a load of laundry and the washer leaked, they sent a repairman to replace the seal, after replacement it still leaked and the repairman noticed a manufactures defect. They agreed to ship this to my home and now they want to charge me $200 to send me a replacement machine bc i live in the country (very rural area) and they do not want to pay all the shipping. Please do not buy from this company as they will not stand by agreements they have previously made nor their product.

I had an issue with a new 2drawer frig. I contacted support and quickly received a response.. come to find out there was a loose wire under some tape. I re-taped the wires fix the issue. The issue was factory generated, not an EAA issue. In the future I will be using EAA for trouble shooting needs.

The customer service was excellent. We did speak and text a number of times and each experience was very helpful and provided the correct information. The dryer problem was resolved, and as of now is working as it should. Thank you so much and appreciate all the service provided.

I purchased an Equator Super Combo Washer/Dryer ( all-in-one unit ) from Equator Advanced Appliances (shipment received August 8, 2022). I have yet to have the unit dry clothes completely, The unit has two drying modes; condensing (unvented) and vented. Both methods yield the same result - clothes are damp and warm at the end of the drying cycle. This is more than false advertising. When contacted (several times) they question me about using the condensing mode vs. vented. I reply, "both". They sent a technician out once on October 14th, did not correct the problem. Technician stated that the machine was functioning correctly! When contacted again on November 9th, they said they would find what parts were needed, ship them out and schedule another service call. I haven't heard a word from them since that phone call. Perhaps it is because I told them at that time this would be the last service call I would accept, that I next wanted to return the unit if it would not dry clothes completely.
