    This company is trash! It deserves 0 stars and with good reason. Their customer service and coverage is awful. It amazes me how they can collect your coins, but when it's time to file a claim and get help they want to see your bloodwork, high school transcript and date of the last oil change. Please take it from me do not deal with these *******

    We understand your frustration with the outcome of the claim that was presented. However, we must determine coverage based on an insured’s specific policy. As we set forth in the February 7, 2024 determination letter, you had a named-peril only policy that does not afford coverage for the specific loss you had at your home. You can reach out directly to your independent agent to discuss all coverages afforded under the Policy.

    I filed a claim and keep in mind. I am in the process of remodeling my home, but the other day we had a rain storm with hail and water had come in my house from the light fixtures in the kitchen and part of the roof or the ceiling in my living room and my bedroom while the guy came out here and said they were stains on a different side keep in mind aside that he had no business looking at because I’m in the process of remodeling. I told him where the leak was he didn’t even look where it was leaking or and he went and looked at other sides where I’m fixing so they denied my claim. I’ve called them and left messages and they keep sending me back the same letter that I’ve already received in the mail this is the worst service ever and I will need to look into this further because they are looking at stuff. I did not ask them to look at the water came in different areas they suck.

    We have reviewed your file. The independent adjuster found there were no wind or hail damages to your roof. The interior leaks were due to roof jacks, flashing and pipe jacks that were not properly sealed. These items were previously covered and warranted for replacement when you filed a claim in 2016. These items appear to never have been replaced and now show signs of deterioration. Therefore, the interior damages in your October 2023 are not due to a covered peril under the Policy. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Columbia Lloyds WILL NOT pay claims. Check with BBB, they are not in BBB unless it's complaints. Stay away from Columbia Lloyds...you're welcome.

    We have reviewed your claim, and it appears that the cause of the loss was a leak originating below the slab or foundation of the home. This finding is consistent with the inspection reports provided by two different independent plumbers selected by you. Unfortunately, as noted in our correspondence to you on March 17, this type of loss is specifically excluded in the Policy.
