I don't think these people like having customers. Here I am on hold again for customer service. They dumped my whole trash bin on the back of their truck and took off last Monday. They said I'd have to wait until the following Monday for a replacement. They told me to put trash bags out and they would pick them up when they come. Well guess what! They picked up the trash bags and still didn't return my bin..This company is straight garbage !Review from Nicholas R

If I could do negative stars I would. Today was trash pickup, went out to bring my empty bin in, and it’s broke!! They slammed it so hard on the ground the wheel came off. No knock on my door, no note saying anything. Highly unprofessional. I tried calling only to have about 30 minutes of robot voice prompts until they finally said they’re closed for the day. I just had surgery 2 days ago on my left arm, and can’t use it. so I can’t bring it in without wheels. I took photos of the damage but won’t let me attach it here.Review from kristia j

I always see trash on the ground throughout our neighborhood after the trash man leave.. I am retired so I can sit and watch what is going on. This is been going on for years. Before the trashmen, I don’t see any trash lid on the ground, however, after that or completed time to trash all over the streets and peoples yards. for the 10th time I witnessed them pick up my trashcan. I see items fall all over my driveway. They put the cam back down and driveway leaving that trash to blow all over. We have a walking area in our neighborhood and it is filled with trash because that’s where it all blows throughout the years and it’s disgusting ! God forbid if they hop out of the truck and pick up what they dropped!!Review from Louis G

Our SW division of wast Management is no longer providing good quality services! They have a driver that will not get out of the pickup truck to put bags of leaves in the dumpster. Or anything else. It is so bad most of my neighbors have quite using them. This is a case of poor supervision in my opinion!!!!Review from Steve S

I had $35.00 bulk item pickup . Received the bill and Waste Management added a fuel/environmental charge of $16.01, a regulatory cost recovery charge of $$1.84 & a n administrative charge of $8.50. bringing the single total cost of a $35 bulky item pickup to $61.35. Absolute rip off. Also they were 4 days late in the pickup.Waste Management Response

Waste management is horrible. Our business bill went up from $400 a month for a weekly pick up to this month $712! They added a $8.50 admin fee and a $98.50 energy fee to our bill. Took 10 minutes to get with a live agent and then they transferred... I am still on hold now 15 minutes. I believe they have a monopoly negotiated with our city as the city requires us to use them and will not even provide a customer service agent to discuss the issue. The word business corruption is now entering this review. Terrible Waste Management, earn the business on your merits like small business owners have to. I should buy your stock to at least **** * *** sone of the money you are taking from our businesses...Waste Management Response

I don't really recommend "customer service", I was calling few times to set up a service, I was holding for 25 minutes on a line, and no one answer, when I choose to call me back, I was asking to wait too. At last when I called to the agent, and I asked about phone call at 4;30 after my job, she promised me, but no one called me. Yesterday at 4:40 when I called myself they said me that all offices are closed( WM works till 5) . I had a call from you at 5:40, The woman( Janet) was really nice and reliable.Waste Management Response

Should have asked my neighbors who they use before I got wm for trash service, they constantly miss my trash pick up when I call to complain I'm told they will be there next day they never come next day, I had the service for about a month now they've been late 3 times. Awful service, customer service doesn't do anything to help remedy the problem. I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Waste Management Response

Trying to get a hold of WM to resolve an issue is the absolutely one of the worst runarounds I've ever experienced. Their automated phone service just loops you around and around to the same place you started. Keeps promising to transfer you to customer service, but took 4 times going through the whole menu, repeating my address over and over before it finally did. Then waited on hold and waited and waited and waited. When a customer service rep finally answered, he asked me a few questions and then put me on hold again. I was on hold so long again that the system sent me back to original menu to choose from again. I went through the menu again, which told me again that my trash was picked up, it wasn't! Then the automated voice told me that I was calling outside of office hours and hung up on me. So I have a curb full of trash and no resolution. I belong to an HOA with no choice in my trash service, If I did, WM would have been fired today. If you have a choice don't use them!Waste Management Response

I am furious! WM was "ok" in the beginning, then started marking "service completed" when it had not been. Had to call 3 different weeks - in a row- to say 'service was not completed'. They did not come another day, just had me on next scheduled pick up. 3 weeks of trash piling up!! Found out from neighbors that's why they had switched companies. I called their provider (Whitetail) HALF the cost of WM/quarter!! So I canceled (finishing out the quarter to not have cancelation fee). What happened? I received a $92 bill. $75 for picking up their bins, $12 for energy (fuel to drive & pick up) and $8.50 for "admin charge". This company is beyond greedy & with such poor service they have no right thinking they deserve it!!Waste Management Response
