      Just Energy signed me up in Kroger for a solar buyback program and free nights. Only problem is they haven't been buying my solar for months. When I called them they acted like it was my fault. What a scam!

      This company is literally stealing money from me. I am in a one bedroom one bath apartment. My bill has been almost $400.00 for 3 months in a row. I call to tell them theres no way my bill should that high. They investigated the situation and said that my bill and usage was correct! IMPOSSIBLE! It is literally me and my dog here. And I work hybrid. People with 4 bedroom homes have cheaper electricity bills than this. No one can explain to me why my bill is remotely over $200.00. I have to constantly do extensions, because I can not afford the bill. Its crazy!

      Do not sign up with this company I was told by a *** in the store that Id be paying ****** per kilowatt I was actually paying 23cent per kilowatt and now Im stuck in a two year contract with them and I have to pay $175 fee if I decide to leave them after being conned into signing up with them.

      You can enroll online for the 12, 24, 36. and 60 month plans, but you have to call to enroll in the really low rate 3 month plan. Why do you have to call, you ask? They don't really want anyone enrolling in the three month plan. I use an energy broker who finds the cheapest rate for me. When I called to enroll (they would not allow my broker to be on the call with me) they asked me if I had a broker. That isn't anyone's business. I called to sign up for the 3 month plan that had an average of 10.3 cents per kilowatt hour, which would have carried me nicely through the summer. The *** tried to convince me the 24 month plan at 14.9 cents per kilowatt hour would be better for me since the 3 month plan is only three months long, and it would be more "convenient" for me so I would not have to worry myself with switching so soon.I may not be the best at math, but COME ON! I am also not brain dead. I know that being locked into a ridiculous rate for 2 years will cost me so much more. *******BAIT AND SWITCH MASTERS******

      The agent didnt do what I asked. That was my other electricity company was not to be terminated before April 11. just energy. Add me to the contract before April 11 and call me early termination fee of $350.

      Just leaving one star because thats the only way I can leave a review. Just Energy is absolutely horrible. I was in a major rollover ************************** for 3 months, nothing in my apartment changed all of the same normal appliances were running for 3 months, my bill more than doubled the last month and they just said well thats what the meter reads so you have to pay it I paid but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Fast forward to today, my automatic withdrawal has been set up since first getting service through my debit card. The withdrawal shouldve came out Friday the 14th, I checked Friday evening and no withdrawal. I logged in, it shows Im set up for automatic withdrawal. I checked again Saturday and no withdrawal again. Monday I checked and nothing but I did get a disconnection notice. I went ahead and paid manually and noticed a $20 up charge. I called this morning to ask why the up charge if I was set up on automatic withdrawal and had funds available on the due date. They said they withdraw from credit cards 5 business days before the due date. I told them its not a credit card its a debit card but regardless I had funds on the card this entire time. I was never notified of insufficient funds or that there was a pending withdrawal. He said he can re enter my card info to see if their system recognizes it as a debit card but he will not be crediting my account the $20 even though their system clearly never attempted the automatic withdrawal. He continued to argue with me I immediately hung up and called TXU to start service with them.

      Just Energy is deceitful and stole $627.52 from me. I called immediately when I found that my account was charged $529.52 more than my bill of $98.00. They assured me they would give me a refund for the over charge. They even gave me a confirmation number to track this transaction. 3 days later they canceled the refund without contacting me and refused to give my money back. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and stay away. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges, this is going to take 90 days before anything is final. Just Energy should be held accountable for the theft of money from customers. They also signed me up for new service on Feb 14th that I did not inquire about or agree to so now they want $175 cancellation fee.

      I was approached in ******* by one of the just energy sales rep and was lied to about this service. He told me that he was with my energy provider and that they wanted to give me a gift card for signing up with there program to save money in energy costs. He told me nothing would change except that I would be saving money. I received an email saying that I signed up for a service to switched my energy provider to just energy and come to find out they charge even more than what I was paying with consumer energy energy. I'm very upset with this. I was lied to and missed by the person in *******. I want this service canceled. I try to call the number but you can't even get through to speak with someone. I believe this company is a scam.

      I had a very disappointing experience with this company. A salesperson at ****** approached me and used misleading information to convince me to sign a contract without giving me enough time to fully understand the terms. I felt pressured and unprepared. Could you imagine we signed the contract in 10min??! Later, when I realized the contract was not what I was told, I tried to cancel, but they charged me a breach fee for 50 dollars. This company should train their sales representatives to be more transparent and honest instead of deceiving customers. I do not recommend Just Energy to anyone.

      Totally misrepresented the pricing I would be charged each month. Did NOT honor the no cancellation fee promise. Charged me over triple what I was told I would have to pay per kilowatt, and collected the cancellation fee under threat of “collections” action (I paid the outrageous monthly bill on time, but not the cancellation fee—over a period of about 5 weeks from start of service to first bill). This company is a scam!!!
