      Started my service on Sept 2021. Have a 24 mo. Contract and would receive quarterly e gift cards well that only happened for the 1st year. After hat they said I had cancelled From receiving the cards. And I did that thru online . I never use online I pay my bills on the phone and nothing else. Today they said I had received all the cards. So I had nothing coming to me. They are ******* . They refuse to return my calls. My contract expires in sept. 2023. So I’m getting emails to renew because my contract expires very soon. HELLO SEPT 2023 is over 90 days away. Hey have hung up on me or they do it so I can’t do a review. Not happy with this company at all. Thank you

      This company is relentless with the phone calls after I canceled service with then. Literally was charging 3x as much as DTE. STOP THE GD PHONE CALLS.

      Had good prices but the Customer Service is terrible. Left me without power due to account set up issues that I tried calling 5 times. No one knew what to do and wouldn't ask for help from other coworkers. Had cancel my account and go back to my old company. (Champion)

      They told me my cost for watt wa# going to be certain price and after I received my first bill it was totally different and also the lied because the representative 5old me there was not connection fee and they charged me $144.00 , they never send me the contract and after. Be very careful with direct energy because they try to get you to sign a contract but after you do it you can’t get a hold of the person that convinced you to sign it , she gave me her mobile phone number for future inquires but she never answer and she also told me she was going to send me contract by email and never got it..

      I switched to have both my gas and electric come from Direct Energy in Dec. 2022. The resulting confusion in billing make me aware that they are either incompetent, or crooked, or both.

      Failure to disclose information and false representation! After my 2 yr "fixed rate" expired I had no option but the "HUGE increase" as my $0.08kwh was no longer available in 7/2022. Advised and agreed to the next available rate of $0.15/kwh and instead I've been charged $0.28/kwh not as agreed. Many disputes monthly and no results! Moved services after months of no answers and then hit with a "defered balance" that was never explained. Spoke to rep and mentioned filing claim with BBB & instantly transfered to a supervisor. Supervisor reviews call from start of plan and agrees that T
      The representative states that nowhere about defered charges/defered billing. The agent "supervisor Emily" stated even though they rep failed to disclose its not their responsibility to fix the error. The "supervisor" then blind transfers to another rep and the conversation starts over after 1½hrs to get through the first supervisor. After 2 hours of casks in one night I'm given a "management number" to call back to the next day because Jesus won't be in and can't make calls out. Customer service 833 314 1773
      I'm still left with the erroneous bill of $578.10 that I was never advised of!!

      Have tried for days to set up new service with Direct Energy. Completed the request on their website. Now I can't get anyone to help with the online chat or the 1-888 #. I hold for 20+ minutes, then get transferred to "someone who can help me". But, no one ever answers. Continue holding only to get disconnected with a message that says "no agent available." Online chat told me I had to speak to a representative. I have been going round and round with their customer service for over 2 1/2 hours now. Very poor service.

      I just received a collections notice from Direct Energy LP. I have no idea where this is coming from. We've always paid our electric/gas/energy bills. AND, we live in South Carolina which isn't even where this company is located. Now they are going to try to ruin our excellent credit. What is this ridiculousness? I have no idea what to do, but it's scammers like this that ruin everything! This place should be shut down. South Carolina isn't Texas.

      This company has fraudulently sent a bill to a collection agency that is absolutely not mine ! I have never set foot in Texas and now it has affected my credit score and they are demanding that I send them copies of my social security card and drivers license immediately or they are going to assume the debt is mine ! They are not being helpful at all regarding the theft of my identity that they allowed to take place!
