On 1/10/22, I dropped off several dress shirts and a two-piece suit to be dry cleaned. There was a small tear on the jacket's sleeves that would need to be patched. I left the country the and returned to pick up the items on 1/17. All items but the jacket were available and was informed by same employee it didn't make this delivery but should be back by 5PM that day. After five visits within that week attempting to pick up the jacket initially dropped off two weeks prior, I returned for a final time on 1/24 and jacket was STILL not on site, but now at this point, the same employee informed me they were unable to patch the small hole on the jacket sleeve. Upset after two weeks, multiple wasted trips, the employee asks if the owner could contact me. The owner reached out to apologize and the jacket would be ready for pickup by 5PM that day. The owner agreed to have it delivered; it was delivered later that evening. Three months pass and I'm charged $2.01 to my saved card on 4/15 which posts. I called to inquire as I hadn’t visited any location since 1/24. The employee couldn’t determine why, but would contact the main office to find out information and call me back. She called me back stating there was an outstanding balance owed in that amount from my last visit. I asked if there was an outstanding balance, why was I finally charged nearly three months later? Also, with my card being on file, the entire balance is paid immediately while I’m still in the store. She gave me their main office number for me to inquire myself. I called the main plant and the owner answered, immediately knowing what I was referring to. He stated I actually overpaid on 1/24 and the $2.01 was a credit back to me. I explained to him the charge applied to my card wasn’t a credit, as I was actually charged the $2.01 instead of refunded as he intended. The owner argued with me but then agreed to refund the $2.01. After days, the charge still hasn't been refunded to my card.
