HORRIBLE SERVICE! Over 2 years including almost 40 visits. Unit still dosent work. Mold on ceiling. Water and rust Leaking from my vents onto my tile floor damaging the tile. Guest bedroom and bathroom has mold hanging from the cabinets and the ceiling. Humidity stays between 86 and 88%. Constantly told they are going to fix it but in 40 visit they haven’t been able to get my AC working right in a brand new house. Terrible communication they don’t let you know what’s going on and 70% of the time they never let you know when they’re on their way they just show up unannounced. This has been extremely hard trying to navigate while having a job. Drains under sinks are not sealed. Dehumidifier was not even plugged in for an entire year. Multiple vents replaced from leaking condensation only to have it happening again. I could go on and on… JUST STAY AWAYReview from Avinash V

I do not believe any of the 5-star reviews listed on any social media page for this company as they may be paid because, in reality, this company is horrible with customer service, communication, getting back to you when called multiple times, lying on several occasions for completing the service/order when it wasn't done at all. Guy,s I'm paying you for the service, and still, you can't get the job done? It's been three months since I first requested service and it's still me who is following up every time with no solution in sight. We never receive calls for technicians on the way or when will they be coming, so no scheduling before the job, when at the job, I am told they will need to come back and we absolutely hear nothing.Review from Dan F

Houk installed a brand new hvac system in my brand new home about 18 months ago in Magnolia, TX. Poor quality installation has led to damage to my home and they give me the run around when I ask to speak to management. (condensation on grills, missing return air vents, improperly installed exhaust fan, missing duct work). Since installation, they have been back about 10 times and my system still does not work as it should. Still missing return air, still condensation on grills, water damage to ceiling. The work is under warranty which is the only reason I’ve continued to try to use their services to fix their poor quality installation. I would highly recommend to stay away from this company, and it is absurd that they have an A+ BBB rating.Review from Brandi R

I have received extremely poor service from this company. For over 3wks I have been given the run around on scheduling a crew for AC service at my residence. When a service technician is dispatched he is I equipped to complete any service work which makes the visit pointless. When I call the local service center for escalated support I have often received the option to only leave messages and get the dreaded “someone will follow up with you..” line. No one ever follows up on the end of this business. Imagine being in Texas with 100 degree weather and your AC is not working properly to cool your house and your AC company drags their feet to provide you timely and efficient resolution. Very frustrating. If my AC was not under warranty with this company I would not use them. I will be sharing my experience with my HOA in hopes that my preferred builder drop their partnership with this AC company because they seem to not have a clue about how to manage the daily obligations/resolutions of AC customers.
