We've been in our home built by Carothers since 01/2016. It was brand new with no previous owners when we moved in. From visual inspection everything seemed great, especially considering this is a new house so didn't expect there to be anything to worry about. About a year or so later is when issues started to arise. Master bed bathroom mirror fell off the wall, long crack down side of house, in foundation, garage came off track, grout on counters are separated from counter and walls, plumbing issues, cracks in different parts of the ceiling, ac burnt out but was fixed under warranty only to completely go out a year or so later (2022) in 100 plus degree weather. These are issues you wouldn't notice at move in. Meaning quality of house is poor. House wiring is faulty as well. Cannot plug in multiple items in the kitchen as the breaker will trip continuously. Only one bedroom gets cool when ac is working. Also, horrible separation of ground from house meaning the house had shifted but this was noticed probable year 3 in the house. Beautiful house built poorly and with cheap or poor quality installations and insulation of appliances, wiring, plumbing, etc... Should NOT be graded an A+ and should be sued. We will try to sell this house as the cost to fix the issues surpass the worth of the house in my opinion. To think I used my VA loan for this mess.
