    I was seen in the Emergency Room on 4/09/2022 for a fractured ankle. I was asked by one of the staff members for my I.D. and medical insurance card, which I provided. The staff member also took a photocopy of all my information. Not too long after being seen at Seton, I received a bill for the visit that took place on 4/9/2022. I called the billing department a few times with no answer and I left messages. I called again, got a live person, and gave my information again. Think this was all taken care of, I received the same bill again. At this point, I called my insurance carrier, who tried to conference call Seton to have them submit the bill to them, but no one answered. I also called in February of 2023 to have this issue corrected. Needless to say, I received a bill from a collection agency and when I called, they stated that Seton Medical Center placed in the paperwork that I never gave them any medical insurance information. My carrier conferenced and called the ***************** to pay the bill, but they would not accept the payment directly for the carrier now that it is in collections. My insurance representative told the collection agency Seton received payment for a bill they submitted, so they must have our information in order to receive payment. If there is another bill we will pay it. The collection agency representative said that I would have to pay the bill and try to get reimbursed from my insurance which probably won't happen because it has been over a year. Needless to say, this is an error on Seton Medical Centers ****************** that resulted in my credit score being affected. Seton Medical Center should remove this from collections, remove this negative information from my credit report, and submit it for payment from my insurance carrier.

    i wouldnt give this place any stars at all, the service here is god awful, me and my sister in law have been here for 7 hours waiting to be seen. every time weve gone up there to ask for a wait time some white lady always gave us 30 minutes as a wait time.. you can only say 30 minutes so many times girl. i feel super offended considering anybody else that has gotten here after us who.. happens to be a certain race. gets in before us. the only people kept waiting are people of color. if you have an emergency, go anywhere else but here. the nurses popped two of my sisters veins and tried to say think of it as a balloon. no go get some more training. this is so f****** ridiculous. 7 hours????
