I utilized their moving services on 10/21/23. I hired them to load three items onto a uhaul truck, meet us at our apartment and move our belongings directly across the street to another apartment in the same community. We moved from a 765sqft to a 900 sqft one bedroom. All other moving companies had recommended booking this for three hours of work so that is what I did. The movers were 1.5 hours late without notifying us of change of plans, and took five hours. I finally told them to go and that we would finish everything. My husband and 70+ year old parents worked until 10pm that evening to finish because I am 33 weeks pregnant and am under lifting restrictions - the entire reason we hired movers to begin with. The day of the move I complained to the company multiple times about how long things were taking and how the crew was handling our belongings- all via text. Every response was an excuse for how abnormal this is for this company and complaining that they had another job for this crew after mine. I was only offered to not be charged for extra time after I said that their messages were not helping our situation. AFTER this one of the movers brought in one of my dressers broken beyond repair. On 10/25 we got our internet/tv service set up and opened our TV box to find the screen cracked and TV completely inoperable. I asked the company to call me after 4pm on 10/26 to discuss this, and never heard anything. At 5:30pm I called letting them know I expected to speak with them that night. After a follow up call and text I finally got texts. They claim they offered to forgive the charges for extra time due to the dresser damage, and wont acknowledge my proof that this damage didnt occur until after that offer. They also claim that Im required to report the tv damage within 24 hours of their services but cannot provide me small print that I signed acknowledging this. I was never informed of this policy otherwise and am not aware of this policy existing anywhere.
