    We contracted with All Points of Texas to move furniture on 2/19/22 from their long term storage and from our residence. The furniture was to be delivered to our new home. They did not complete the job in one day and damaged the bulk of our furniture to include for example a gaping hole in our china cabinet, gouges on solid wood dining chairs, stains on upholstered dining chairs, and deep scratches on armoires, coffee tables, side tables, nightstands etc. We immediately called our All Points contact, Sheila ****. We texted her pictures of the damage and informed her that the movers were sitting, texting friends, taking excessive smoke breaks, not moving our furniture in a timely fashion, and at one point left the job in search of jumper cables for their truck. The jumper cable journey took 45 minutes. We, however, were charged over time even though they did not complete the job. A new crew was sent on 2/22/22 to complete the job. We phoned Sheila **** again to inquire about the damage to our furniture and the over time charges. She sent forms for us to complete. We completed the forms to the best of our ability, included pictures of all damaged items, and met with a professional furniture restoration company to get a professional quote on furniture repairs for the damaged items. We sent everything to Kim ******** by certified mail to All Points of Texas on 4/24/22. Kim ******** was the assigned designee to handle customer issues with furniture damage. We received confirmation that the certified mail was delivered on 4/27/22, by the U.S. postal service. We received an email from Kim ******** acknowledging receipt of our certified mail package that contained pictures, forms, and an estimate of repairs by a professional furniture restoration company. We have not had any resolution or contact from All Points of Texas since the email acknowledgment on 5/11/22. Total paid: $2468.82. Total furniture damage estimate: $13,504.19. Claim #XXXX-XX
