We run a small wholesale company in a small town in ********** State. We have a ****** number but we are not required to have one. He only own a box truck and a van. We own no semi trucks. We have 2 drivers and do not ever leave the *******************. ****** @ DOT Alliance reached out to one of our managers and stated she was with the ****** and we were required to pay a fee and update our records. The manager gave ****** our office manager's contact information. ****** then called our office manager and again stated she was with the ****** and this was required. Our office manager answered a few questions and paid $600 by phone. I phoned DOT Alliance group when this crossed my desk and told ******** there was a mistake and requested a refund. I explained the size of our company and the lack of ****** requirements. She told me it was too late to issue the refund. I asked to speak to her manager *** who also refused my refund. I told her the cost of this service that I don't even need was $200 on their website and asked why she charged me $600. She said it was because their agent updated our information via phone rather than us using their website. I asked to speak to ***'s manager **** and she refused. I called back multiple times and asked for him and left messages asking him to call me. No one has called me back. I even spoke to *** a couple more times and she told me **** refused my calls and my refund request.This is 100% fraud. ****** told both our office people she was with the ******. We are not required to have a ****** number but even if we were we would be able to update it by ourselves at no cost directly with the actual ******.
