I paid **** ****** ***** a $7500 deposit for a metal workshop in April 2021 and he has not returned to erect the structure. The contract stated that he would complee the building by May 17th, 2021, As of this complaint the work has not been started which puts him in default of the contract and I am owed a full refund.Business response

I provided Joel ****** *****, dba Krager Buildings, a deposit of $7800 in December 2020 for the construction of a 30x40x14 workshop. As of August 2021 he has not started the building no refunded the deposit. I have heard many excuses as others has regarding supplies, broken welder, or stuck on another project for 6 months. I want my full refund of my deposit returned. This guy has a criminal record in Smith, Van Zandt, and Ellis County,TX for theft of services.Business response

Customer will be refunded soon. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/09/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Joel ***** has a lengthy criminal record related to defrauding citizen across east and north Texas. He recently registered another business under Joe's Garage LLC to keep perpetuating the fraudulent activity. Joel ***** was to have provided my refund Monday, August 30th and just like my building, I haven't seen that either. Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2021/10/01) */ Mr, ****** was refunded on 9/21/2021 by priority express mail. Was Delivered on 9/21/2021 Consumer Response /* (4200, 18, 2021/10/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Joel ***** only refunded $5000 of my $7800. He left materials behind that I requested him to pick up. He refused to pick up the materials when asked and deducted from the deposit without my permission. When I had the materials he left on my property valued I am short a $400-$600.Initial Complaint

I'm still actively working on this site and still communicating with Mr. *******. We agreed that I will be delivering Steel this Wednesday the 8th.
