    Legalinc provides registered agent service and state filing service. State filings include entity formation, annual reports, amendments, and dissolution. Legalinc does not file or complete form MCS-150. 

    Please note that Legalinc may be listed as an entity's registered agent with the Secretary of State, however, Legalinc is not the attorney for said entity. As registered agent, Legalinc is responsible for receiving government legal mail or service of process for the listed entity and forward the mail to the contact on file.

    Your compsny name Legaling Corporate Services *** is the Resident Agent for A company name ****************** registered in ********, located at **************************************************************************************. Someone one used this company name and the registration information cheated me and signed a contract with me to add solar panels to my existing system. We paid deposit money and other cost. It supposed to complete in 90 days, But one year past, the added panels are not work at all. Requested the team to make it work many times in the past 4 months but never came. So we are talking to you since you are the Residental Agent of this company.

    As Registered Agent, we do not have insight on company structure for our clients. Our role is to simply receive state legal correspondence and forward it to the authorized contact on file. We do not review their correspodence for them as we are not their attorney. I highly recommend reaching out to the buisiness directly or consulting an attorney to resolve the matter.

    Complaint Against Legalinc - Unfair ******************* Legalinc failed to process my company dissolution (Order #*******, placed 12/27/24) in a timely manner despite me providing all information upfront. Their delay caused the process to extend into 2025, resulting in $450 in extra fees.They claim delays are normal for orders placed after 12/27, but this is misleading.     Hello I filed for an LLC 3/2023 With the **** I paid the fee and received my EIN number on the spot... I chose myself as the As the *** and registered agent. Aprin attempting to file my annual reports. I happen to notice that Legalinc corporate RA services **** was listed as the registered agent. I've never had any dealings with this company. I've never paid this company or anyone from that company. To do anything for me or my business, I'm not sure how this happened. I would like it to be rectified and removed.

    LegalInc provides registered agent services to business LegalInc serves as the registered agent for my business Being a registered agent involves accepting mail on behalf of my business and notifying the business whenever mail is received On Feb 15, 2024, LegalInc notified my of mail they received on behalf of me. The letter they received was from the ************************************************* dated January 30 (!). In that letter, I was given a deadline of 15 days (Feb 14) to respond. Obviously, I missed the deadline because I was unaware of the letter.I reached out to LegalInc to get an explanation and specifically learn on what date the letter was received, but just received a boilerplate response:"I understand your concern, the dates on the documents are not the date that it was receveid by Legalinc.When we receive registered agent mail, we aim to scan and upload the documents as quickly as possible. However, sometimes there may be delays due to high volume, holidays, or receiving mail outside of our business hours. I hope this clarifies things for you. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns."

    We did provide an update to our customer, *************************, on February 26 regarding this issue. 

    Unfortunately, the date of the notice does not reflect the actual date we received it at ************ office. Our process is to overnight all notices to our ***** office for scanning.
    Once we receive it in *****, the standard turnaround time to upload notices is 2 business days. After researching with our registered agent team, we are unable to verify the exact date of when we received the notice.

    Given the delay of the notice, we did issue a refund to ***************** of $149 for the registered agent subscription for Stream ***********************. in ** on February 26.

    I am emailing in regards to a purchase I made in March, 2023, with ************** to sucessfully file my LLC with the state of ********, and saw that work was partnered with Legalinc.I am very disappointed, that I did not receive confirmation for a physical copy to show state LLC registration with my home address in ********.On the ************* website, my application shows as open, which the transaction had been completed. No state paperwork or registration was sent to my physical mailing address.On a self background check, with ***********, My LLC with ************** is listed twice. This has been brought to the attention of *********** information reporting.I have personal informaiton on the **** filing number, file date, and recieved date. However, that did not match or show valid with the state of ********** believe, as I continued to receive ** ***** of ******* letters.In order to successfully pay my taxes as an LLC, I had been awaiting registration paperwork, as I had done as a sole proprietor in 2021-2022. This is upsetting and I am seeking clarfication, and a discussion how ************* handled issues that I tried to resolve with their customer service team. I am bothered that there is also no point of contact for the individual who filed with the state of ********.

    Legalinc/Legalzoom recently acquired SmallBIZ, a company I used to establish my LLC, ************************* LLC, in January of 2022. During the migration of data from SmallBIZ to Legalinc's own portal for customer access in October 2022, it appears that their registered agent or data migration team has placed legal documents (including IRS EIN documents) from seven other clients in various states into my document portal. This is a serious mishandling of customer data and legal documents and should be investigated internally by Legalinc/Legalzoom. I am extremely concerned by this and concerned that a company I never agreed to do business with could have potentially mishandled my own legal documents as well.

    Thank you for your patience. Our team conducted a thorough investigation of the customer's account and determined that several documents intended for other customers were erroneously uploaded this customer's account due to an isolated human error on the part of the UAS team prior to acquisition.  Legalinc has since removed the erroneously-uploaded documents from the account and taken appropriate action to remedy the situation.  In regards to the customer's EIN letter, we have conducted a thorough search of UAS and Legalinc databases and cannot find any record of having received this letter.  We recommend contacting the *** directly to obtain a copy of the letter.

    Stripe Atlas uses legalinc as their registered agents / designees for obtaining an EIN. I was incorporated last wednesday, december 21st 2022. It has been one week s***e ***orporation and I have called the *** to see the update about my EIN. They are missing key documents needed to obtain my EIN. They claim to call everyday on my behalf, but clearly legal *** has not sent in the necessary documents. When you call legal *** phone number it goes right to voicemail every second of the day, everyday you call. I do not believe them to have an actual phone number, and seems like a shell of a company.

    Hello BBB. This delay was due to the holidays for the *** and Legalinc. We also receive an error from the *** indicating that there was already an EIN assigned to same company name or a similar name to that company that we are trying to obtain an EIN. The timline was also impacted as the *** has a backlog of about three weeks.

    My name is ******* ****** and I am customer of LegalInc.com. Every since this company took over from Smallbiz; they offer nothing but poor customer service from they start. Customer service reps were rude, bossy, and aggressive towards me as client. They treated like I didn't have an account with their business associate, Smallbiz. Openly, they lied in my face about not know about my company's access. Their male customer service rep was aggressive, rude, and openly hostile towards me. Just for asking an question about the status of my company. Then I got rude back, he started to get very harsh, and then hang up. But the big issue is that they didn't want me to have access to my company's login information.

The migration of the data has taken a bit longer than expected. The calls with Ms ****** have been reviewed for any opportunities to improve our response, but we want to assure Ms. ****** that she should be able to log into her account as expected. Our customer support team is continuing to work with Ms ****** to ensure her data and entities are migrated as quickly as possible.
