I am a former employee of Addus Homecare in ****** *********** was employed with this company from February 2023 - July 2023. Upon filling my taxes last month for tax year 2023 it was discovered that Addus has not reported my earning to the **** Therefore, the *** has a hold on my return for wage verification pending Addus reporting my earnings. An employee from the *** stated that I could submit check stubs, bank statements and reach out to Addus to have them resubmit my W-2. I have reached out to Addus corporate office and was given an email address to their W-2 department. I sent an email on the afternoon of February 29th and have not received anything back from them. The *** will hold my return for up to 120 days whether Addus submits the information or not but my income could be verified if the company would send in the proper information. The *** has stated that I am supposed to contact Addus regarding the information they need. There isnt a phone number to Addus tax department to speak to a live person, only an email address.
