In February my wife and I experienced significant flood damage to our home in Richardson due to frozen pipes that burst caused by having no electricity for multiple days during the winter storm that blanketed the entire state of Texas. We have lived in our house for 20+ years and this was a devastating blow. Our first course of action was to call our ********** insurance agent and were told to take as many pictures as possible and contact a company like ******* for help with water mitigation. They offered no assistance as they were overwhelmed with requests for help. We contacted multiple mitigation companies; however, they were not able to help us for over 2 weeks after the storm due to the high demand of folks that needed help. Basically, we were on a long waiting list and at the mercy of the water mitigation companies.

While we were waiting we knew that we would need a contractor to help put our house back together again once the water mitigation was completed. Long story short, we reached out to a painting company who had helped us recently with a painting project in our home. Due to the significant amount of repair that was needed, they determined it was too big of a project for them to handle themselves, so they immediately recommended and contacted DMS Roofing on our behalf. Craig ****, the President of DMS was in our driveway within 30 minutes! He surveyed the damage to our home and told us with confidence that he could help restore our home. You can't imagine our relief.

Craig and his team were unbelievably professional, hardworking, friendly, caring, considerate, and consistent from start to finish regarding all the work they did on our home. They had specialized teams that handled the extraction of all the flooring, drywall replacement (which was significant), baseboards, painting, including repainting our entire kitchen from brown cabinets to white. The overall quality of workmanship and attention to detail was simply outstanding! The crew showed up every day, consistently. Craig came by our home regularly and as needed to inspect and oversee the progress of the work. Craig was also very accessible via cell phone. He recommended a flooring store, and he met my wife at the store and helped her pick out new flooring, and expedited it's arrival when everyone was in the same boat trying to locate building materials. He took care of all of the procurement/shipping/transportation of not only the flooring, but the bathroom vanities we required and all of the building materials needed to complete the renovation of our home.

Craig and his team went over and above to live up to his initial commitment he made on day one, which was, and I quote "We want to get you back in your home". This meant so much to us as we were 72 days going back and forth from a hotel and our home.
