    EXTREMELY UPSETTING AND ************************. I have stayed at this hotel many times. My family stays here too. But yesterday, after we had been checked and settled into our room in the hotel, I was shocked and appalled as the hotel lobby staff (mainly the two managers in charge **T the lady who checked us in - she was VERY upset at what the managers were doing to us) threw myself, my husband and my 5 year old child out of the hotel with ** OTHER HOTEL CONTINGENCIES as it was a holiday and it took me weeks of checking just to find this one room alone. They KNEW we were from out of town and had **WHERE ELSE to stay for the night. One of the managers saw me show my little girl the observation deck (which I ********** asked the lady who checked us in and she said that was ok) and ******** ME in front of half a dozen other hotel guests like I was some kind of shoplifter. She raised her voice at me and pointed her finger at my child and asked if *** was staying with me. To my horror, I said, of course she is, she is my child! This manager said they have a ****** ** PETS ** SMOKING ** CHILDREN RULE and pretty much how dare I violate this rule! I have never been so humiliated, esp by a hotel worker IN MY LIFE. My child was crying bc of this adults nasty behavior towards us. I kept asking if she was joking and she was not. She called over another manager who was not as rude as the first but equally unsympathetic towards the situation. They wanted us gone, ***********. I asked why and they acted like I was an idiot. They said it said in my reservations emails that there is a strict no child policy. I double checked these emails later and THERE WAS ** POLICY OF THAT KIND WHATSOVER IN THESE ******!! They also said it is clear on their website. You have to navigate through several links to find this policy!! I understand these are their rules and ********** ******** WITHOUT A SCENE, but the way they handled this massive miscommunication was ********. One, they should have understood we had **WHERE ELSE TO GO. What should have been (and was up to that point), was a happy 4th of July experience with my husband and daughter. Instead we were throw out of our fancy hotel with nowhere to go. So we had to ***** BACK HOME. This is ********!!! They should have ********** TO US for any miscommunication. Instead they acted like we were common criminals, causing my daughter to cry (*** DID **THING WRONG) and cry the rest of the way home and even into bed about this horrendous experience which was completely unnecessary. They could have had us sign a ******* ********* WAIVER or even put down a bigger deposit. They should absolutely **T have thrown us out ***** THEY FOUND ********** ACCOMMODATIONS FOR US!! Lastly, for our inconvenience alone, they should have offered a voucher or SOMETHING for the next time. I absolutely HATE **** HOTEL now and plan to tell EVERYONE I K**W (we own a real estate company and have had several clients stay at this hotel before - ***** AGAIN). This was the poorest customer service experience in my life. I understand there is a no child policy, but **** PEOPLE assume their child is welcome at all hotels unless it is ************ AN ****** ONLY RESORT like *******. There was ** COMMUNICATION ABOUT **** POLICY, except buried in their website and both managers LIED when they said I knew of this at the time of booking (** I DID **T) or should have known when I received the emails (THERE IS ** **TICE ABOUT **** WHATSOEVER IN THE ******). I am so embarrassed and humiliated over this ****** UNNECESSARY EXPERIENCE by a hotel no less whose reputation is that of going above and beyond for its customers. **** WAS SICK TO DO TO AN OUT OF TOWN ****** ON A HOLIDAY NIGHT. Appalling!!!!
