    Subject: Complaint Regarding Wrongful Repossession of Vehicle Without Notice To Whom It May Concern,I am submitting this complaint regarding the wrongful repossession of a vehicle that I had been actively making payments on through a dealership (Watson Auto Group).Over the course of the agreement, I paid over $4,000 toward the vehicle. I remained in consistent contact with the payee and had discussed and arranged payment plans in advance. On the very day the vehicle was repossessed, I was preparing to make another payment when I walked outside and discovered the vehicle had been taken without any prior notice, warning, or communication indicating that repossession was imminent.Shortly after, the payee contacted me asking if I still intended to make the payment. This further confused and frustrated the situation, as it suggested ongoing uncertainty about whether payments were being properly tracked or respected. At this point, I no longer feel safe continuing any relationship with this dealership or vehicle due to the lack of transparency and the fear that the vehicle could be taken again without justification.While I do not wish to have the vehicle returned, I am only requesting a refund of half of the payments made, as I understand the vehicle was in use for a period of time and I believe that requesting half is fair under the circumstances. In addition, I am respectfully requesting that this situation not be reported to any credit bureau or applied to my credit, as I maintained open and consistent communication with the payee and fully intended to fulfill my financial obligations until the wrongful repossession occurred.I ask that the BBB assist in investigating this matter and holding the business accountable for what I believe to be predatory and unfair practices.

    Bought a vehicle in January from this dealership. My temp tags they provided have expired and I have been calling for two weeks trying to get an answer about them. Never has anyone answered any calls or messages. The *** has told me that the title transfer application has not even been submitted yet by them. My lender is also trying to contact them but has been unable to. Now I am having to purchase 30 day permits just to keep driving.

    I purchased a vehicle through the in-house financing program a 6 month program where I get a pick from a couple vehicles make on time payments and then get to pick a new vehicle after the 6 months when I credit is better. After just a couple weeks the motor goes out this was on dec 9th 2024. I was told the they needed to file a warranty claim and once approved theyd replace the motor to date a claim hasnt been filed and nothing has progressed forward with this situation they decided to tell me 2 weeks ago after being without a vehicle for 2 months that now I have to pay a $200 deductible for my warranty to get the process started. Its been 2 months and then they tell me this. All the while Ive been out of work. I own my own handyman business and told them from the beginning I needed a vehicle to get back and forth to jobs. Ive called and asked to have the 200 paid on my behalf and was told they wouldnt do that now I call and get no answer from any of the numbers I have for them every day last week multiple calls each day and no answer at all any of the times I called I tried calling the other locations and same thing no answer. I got the vehicle in **********. After the car broke down I asked to be put in one of the other vehicles in the program and was told no. Due to being out of work because of this Ive had to sleep out on the street multiple nights with my wife and dogs. The only thing they have done is defer my December and Jan payments and I hope February as well. There is no communication from them to me Ive been the one to call them every time Ive been able to talk to someone about this Ive been the one making contact with them and now I cant even get anyone on the phone. Im so disappointed in my decision to go to this company and will tell everyone I can about how horrible this experience has been. Ive never felt so screwed over by a company in my 46 years of being alive. So disappointed in the owner of this company for treating people this way

    I bought a car from ******* at the Watson Auto group. I test drove it and told him the issues I noticed like the left front roater grinding and he said to make a list and then schedule an appointment with the service lot that's at another location. We continued the purchase process and I left with the car at around 1740 on 01/27/25. The car I bought is a 2012 Chrysler 200 with almost ****** miles being sold for over $15000 with issues like no turning signals, makeshift horn, no working radio, front right window doesn't roll down, front left roater grinds, slipping transmission, transmission not grabbing, no tread on tires. The car had major issues with driving 20 minutes after leaving the lot and they won't give me my money back bc of a contract I still haven't received. The car was in my possession for no more than 18 hours and 20 minutes into it the transmission went out on my way home. I called ******* and he said to bring it to service today. I did and they found that there were scratches on the bottom of the engine causing a leak which explained the transmission issues and the grinding left roater. They said they were going to fix it after saying it wasn't drivable and to write a claim with insurance or get another car. I wasn't taking accountability for it so I said I need another car and they said fixing it would take a week or more. I called ******* and asked for my money back and he said no bc of the contract.

    I leased a car from them on Sept 2 of 2024. I had it for 3 hours and the motor blew on me. They are refusing to fix my car under warranty and refusing to give me money back they are refusing to cancel the contract and refusing to give me correct information..

    I was sold the vehicle WITH WARRANTY and was told upon purchasing the car that I had warranty. I had the car for 3 hours! And I requested a refund and cancellation of my contract and they refused. They constantly gave me the run around and would not give me right information. They proceeded to not do what they said they would do. And I did not break any monitors. They have cameras that shows that.

    definitely didnt vandalize. My bf has video evidence of what went down in that office. So thats not a concern. What the concern is, is I need my money back for a car I never got and I need my property form Watson auto group. Withholding property is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE. Its stealing.

    One month ago, my mother and I sought to get a vehicle from Watson Auto Group. However they gave us a car already having battery problems. They boosted the car and left it running when they gave it to us clearly showing there was a problem with it for them to need to leave it running. Eventually they repossessed the vehicle and claimed they would repair it. It was a battery. They then wanted us to pay for the repair that shouldve been covered because of the clear problem before we took possession. They eventually agreed to only charge us for the towing required to get the dead car back to Watson to the tune of $183. They misled us and then sent official repossession paperwork. We just want our $500 down payment back so we can get a car elsewhere.

    The tow bill was 165$ clearly something was left on because when we got the vehicle we jumped it off and it started and would hold a charge .  if the customer would have attempted this he would have saved the money .  TO BE CLEAR WE DID NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING BUT TRIED TO HELP THE CUSTOMER AND NOT UP CHARGE THE *** OR CHARGE A DIAG ***.

    Hi my name is ************************ and I purchased a vehicle on 07/09/2024 from Watson auto Groupon in ****************. I drove the vehicle a total of 3 times in between them coming and having to pick it up every other day due to issues with the car 1st issue was no fluids I drove from ********** ***** to ****** with no oil or anything in the car when I asked if all that was taken care of before I left the lot & was told that everything was freshly changed then the 2nd day my steering wheel locked up on me they came and got it kept the car for 2 days and I then received it back and when I got it back my steering wheel locked up again but not only that my transmission went out on the car so it was smoking under hood and they came back and got the car for the 3rd time and I have not seen the car since 07/11/2024 Ive asked for loaner car that wasnt a option I asked for refund after the first problem that was caused and **** watson the owner refused to give me a refund he was very rude to me, my mother, grandfather and sister we sent multiple text messages and called and nothing still I just want a refund at this point because the car is no good and Ive lost my job and everything due to no transportation Ive let him know that also and he didnt seem to care I have no other options left being that I just moved here to ***** and that was all the money I had for reliable transportation for me and my 4 *********** it is 08/26/2024 and I still havent gotten any answers or calls about the 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix that I purchased I need help resolving this issue.

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Watson Auto Group for false advertising and fraudulent practices. They ran a social media campaign advertising that they do not check credit scores and only need to verify income and residency using their in-house process. Despite my initial apprehension about providing my information, they repeatedly assured me that my credit would not be checked, stating that they only verify identity and income.However, after providing my information, I was informed that I did not qualify due to my credit score. This is a recurring issue where Watson Auto Group targets individuals in similar situations, only to demand a larger down payment. An investigation into their financial practices would reveal that they mark up vehicle prices by 150%. The more money customers put down, the more they are exploited, while the salespersons and the dealership profit significantly.Attached is a screenshot of their advertisement, which falsely claims that everyone is approved. This deceptive practice is widespread across the internet, generating income for Watson Auto Group through dishonest means and violating the ***** I urge you to investigate these practices and take appropriate action to prevent further consumer exploitation.

    I am rejecting this response because: that simply proves my point of their practice, 1: i never came into the dealership, 2: I have additional documents  but none was requested, 3: they are marketing using false advertising principles to make a dollar, 4: the beauty kf the conversation is im not a woman.I never made it into the dealership and never got a call. The Restaurant is a mom and pop shoo in *******, ** in which the owner provided the stubs i needed from his quickbooks account. I also have the work verification letter that was provided to me from the company and bank to confirm funds. We also have a POF letter from my financial institution. This is a get rich quick team of people.

    Date of purchase: 4.25.2024 Down Payment: $1500 2019 ****** Altima On 5.1.2024 the car was towed during the middle of the night. After reporting the car stolen we were told by the police that the car had not been reported towed/repossessed. This next morning, After speaking to 4 people we were told that we had to speak to ****. We got the run around all day. On 5.2.2024 my husband went to the business at ********************* and asked to speak to ****. According to ****, he will not give us a refund because the finance company was not able to verify employment and the stubs were fradulant. This is not true because I am the legally owner of the company and no one ever contacted me. The co applicant was told he needed to bring 6 consecutive deposit statements and the deal weould be approved. We advised him that we didn't agree with the business practice and just wanted our down payment back. According to ****, it doesn't work like that.

    This consumer provided fake check stubs to the lender.   We were forced to recover the  unit that  was acquired from fraudulent docs.  I told them that all they needed to do is provide 3 months bank statements showing the deposits from said check stubs. that is when they left, they could not provide the proof.     I am rejecting this response because: as the owner of the business I know what information was provided, what was filed with the *** previously, and who I pay from my company. I also noticed this is a normal practice of the company and I chose not to proceed. The only fraud committed was your employee lying about verifying income with HR because I am HR. People lying saying my company doesn't exist when I have provided proof that my business is active and in good standing. And not contacting someone to inform them that the bank refused the loan and then attempting to keep the money for the down payment and the car. And for the record I didn't leave anywhere because I never saw or spoke to you. I got the run around.
