    If I could give them 0 stars I would! I made the worst decision EVER calling them to inquire about service.They are scam artists and bullies. I had been an ADT customer for almost 15 years and finally decided to look around. And it cost me in more ways than one. Do NOT TRUST THEM They will mark up every one of your items, so do your OWN research. Get EVERYTHING in writing with the tech models and pricing before you even agree to have them come out to your home!! If they didn't come to your door to present their product to you and you instead called them to inquire...you have no rights at least in their opinion. They will force you to make moves the day you get the pricing and the tech info or else you're stuck. JUST DONT DO IT! They recently took over $900 from my account UNAUTHORIZED and that's money I need for my family. I have more damage to my home as a result of dealing with them and they have now also put me in a harder financial situation by taking money from me thats not theirs. No invoice no receipt no breakdown NO CLARITY Choosing DFW security is The worst decision I could've ever made for us!

    I regret using this company for my home security. They dont listen, give inaccurate information and changed my monthly amount without my authorization and withdraw funds from my account without my permission. Then they downgraded my service and lied about whats covered in the cost of the app. I canceled my monitoring services with them, and they decided in retaliation of that they would remove certain elements in accessibility of my app Even though Im still paying for the use of the app, they removed the ability to answer my door from the app and remove the abilityto control my thermostat. The manager an addendum to me that did not coincide with what we discussed over the phone. He is just as despicable as his employees, so now I understand where the employees are getting this from

    We're very sorry that you feel this way, and can certainly understand your frustration. We have tried to help, but it seems there are still some misunderstandings. In 2022 you asked us to cancel your account. One month later, you asked us to re-instate as a video-only account, which we accommodated at a reduced rate. 2 months after that, you asked us to add your monitoring and smart service back, and you signed an amendment for the higher rate. Due to an oversight on our part, we didnt process the rate increase until it was discovered last month. When you spoke with our manager you agreed to go back to video-only at the reduced rate and signed the addendum. As a courtesy, we refunded your full payment from last month and have made no effort to collect for the almost 2 years that we under charged you. While the thermostat is a smart device that wont work on a video-only plan, we have verified that the doorbell camera is indeed working properly. Our goal is for every customer to be fully satisfied, and we are sorry to have missed the **** on this one. If there is anything reasonable we can do to regain your trust, we would love the opportunity.

    The issue here is your unethical tactics of removing the thermostat and video services attempting to cheat me as a customer out of ******************** that Im paying for. For the past two years that Ive been paying $21.65 while being on the video only plan per my request which included both the thermostat and doorbell call answering. It has been a part of the *** and you removed those things recently after discovering that your employer make a huge mistake. You sent me a new amendment claiming that I needed to sign it so you can have a record of the change. No company charges for an app service, its free. In addition, removing those services without communicating specifically what youre changing is not only unethical, but downright deceiving. Its time that I talk to ***** about to hear his thoughts on someone representing his company in this unethical and deceiving matter. When a customer is paying for an app, it includes all app services just as it has for the past two years. If these things have recently changed then the app price must go down from $21.65 and customers should be informed in advance before you secretly Remove items that they have been receiving under the previous amendment as you admitted that I downgraded my service in your employees did not complete a form at that time, but I have been receiving all of these services and paying that price since then that makes absolutely no sense that you can charge me for a app and decide to remove two elements on your own as retaliation

    I had called this company to receive a quote for security services. The individual who collected my information provided me with a quote. When I informed him that I was not in the position to have my credit checked due to the request of my bank he informed me that he checked my credit without my consent. This was very upsetting as a company is legally required to ask my permission before checking a credit score. This is highly unprofessional and could have possibly put me in a position for my loan to be denied for my business!

    Ms. ********* we apologize for the misunderstanding as we strive to be transparent in everything we do. After reviewing the phone call, our representative did ask if he could get the last 4 digits of your social to see if you qualified for reduced upfront equipment cost. We believe he could have been more clear, and have discussed this with him for the future. For your reference, we only did a soft pull which doesnt affect your credit and shouldnt interfere with any loans.

    DFW Security is a total rip off. After 25 months of faihtfully and punctually paying my service fees, I tried to move my servcies to a new location. Note, I never used the included calls maintenance or repair. However, when trying to move my services, I was told I had to pay $250 to ge that done. DFW Security had zero interest in helping a customer willing to continue to do business with them.Any contract I ever had on my living address (electricity, internet, cable, ...etc.) ALL have the clause that when I move to a different address, they either cancel or I can just move them at no cost.Also, they offered me to buy out my contract for $520, which runs 10 more month at $35 per month. Why would I pay $520 to buy out a contract worth only $350.Like I said, this is a total rip off (the sytem is not that great to begin with), and there is absolutely no customer service concerns on the part of ********************.

Since it will likely take our technician most of the day to uninstall and re-install your alarm system with its 14 security and smart components, we simply want to recoup some of that cost if you go that route instead. Also, your service plan did cover us replacing your smart lock free of charge last year. No matter what, it sounds like we need to review the math for your buyout. Please call us so we can get this straightened out for you. We would love the opportunity to make this better.

    I really regret that I chose this company to service my business and residential security needs! Very unprofessional , rude and untrustworthy customer service !After Ive switched the internet carriers , my monitor display stoped connecting to WiFi, called to DFW security and told them about the issue, and also another mess that they left after installing the system (they left hole around the outlet, see the photos) they came finally after 10 days of my initial call and told me that the monitor is defective and needs to be replaced , and I told them to replace it , because it got broken after almost a month of their installation, and the answer from DFW security was that I need to pay an additional $400 to get it replaced, and I told them its under the warranty, and the DFW security installation manager *********************** told me that I need to contact directly to the manufacturer for the free replacement!! Really?? The DFW Security is the distributor of the monitor, they advertise and install the monitor, but they dont want to cover the replacement under the manufacturer warranty?? In that case why they dont tell the customer upfront that thats case, when theyre making a sales call to me , theyve assured that everything parts and labor ) are under 1 year warranty!! What a lie!Based on my personal experience I highly dont recommend to use this company services, there are many better companies that they can serve your business and residential security services, needs in honest and more qualified manner

    Were very sorry this happened but would like the opportunity to correct the record. Both of the incidents you mention were done by contractors you hired after our installation. One of them cut the wires to the monitor,  causing it to short out and then another re-wired a power source to make room for a new freezer. We certainly understand your frustration and really wish you would have called us first to avoid these issues. Youve been a happy customer at your home for years and I hate that this situation has soured our relationship. And we certainly never want to be rude or unprofessional! We have offered to reduce our costs in an attempt to make this right for you. Please let us know what you would like to do.
