    I purchased two brand new trane air conditioners units from Fox Mechanical @ a purchase price of over 15K. They were installed the worker broke my attic ladder and didnt bother to advise of anything used a hammer to force it back up due. The worker also left a soda can in my attic which has lead to mice droppings looking for the food source left by the worker. The a/c unit has been improperly installed and not even a year later I am no able to use my A/C unit upstairs. The company claims there is not a warrant on what is wrong with brand new unit. They have been called 2 twice the first time was maybe two weeks after the install at that time they advised my return ducts werent big enough and I could pay them $800 to fix them which I declined why if I just paid of $15K was the new unit and everything needed to have my home cooled not repaired properly? Now I called back in the beginning of March/end of February and because now the unit is just running without cutting off and not getting cool which was half the issue 2 weeks after install of the new unit. Now I am being told they can fix the issue which is not under warranty for another 2K. At this point I know everything they have done was faulty work and I have been over charged and now I am unable to use the ac unit for my home and in order to have it repaired I have spoken with another company that essentially has said your whole system needs to be replaced cause it is not going to hold up it wasnt setup correctly in my attic. I dont have money to have another new a/c unit put in and I dont trust Fox Mechanical to fix the problem cause they didnt fix or replace my units clearly.

    Fox Mechanical was wonderful about the purchase and installation of the the new units. We bought a Trane and and ** mini split. We have not really had much of a problem with the Trane. We had some maintenance then the guy left a hole in the pipe that the refrigerant goes through. He argued that it was water vapor, fixed it and charged us for more refrigerant we had just paid for. The mini split had to have the inside replace very soon after it was installed. We had more problems with it during the summer but the company said that they had no one working for them any more that could work on it and they would let us know we they had someone. We went the whole summer with no A/C in ***************. Then the winter arrives and the heater would not work. This time the guy that installed was working for them again. He came out and and said said it need a new back panel and he would have to order it. We did not hear from the and continued to call and they told us the part was on back order. We called again again and the lady said he had the part and would be out to fix it. He did come with no part and he left parts off of it and left. I called the company many time and they always promised to call back, which almost never happened. They still claimed the part was on back order and I was told that I should turn on the heat pump and it should work. I informed the lady that I had no idea what that was or where it was at she said she did not know either. I also told her that the guy had left parts off of the unit and I did know how it would affect the unit. She informed me that she would check with the owner and get back to me. Which she has not done so far. We have paid over $12,000 for these units. The mini split is barely 3 years old and the the Trane is not quite 6 years old they are both paid for and still under warranty and we cannot get them to fix it. The Owner finally called and said he was going to work with ** to resolve this problem. I have not heard back yet.
