I dropped off my 2020 Jeep Wrangler for repair on June 3rd- I received a call on June 7th stating the instrument cluster needed to be replaced and that the vehicle should be ready by Monday or Tuesday of the following week. On Saturday June 14th I called to follow up as I hadnt heard from them and again was told the vehicle would be ready on Monday. On Thursday June 19th I still had not heard from the service advisor; I again initiated contact and was told the part is on back order. It is now July 5th and my vehicle has been in repair for over a month and not once have I been given a courtesy call or an update. This dealership does not provide loaners, does not have service integrity, and I really need my vehicle back. I also have a new 2024 ******** that is experiencing maintenance issues and Im sure they wont assist me with transportation when both vehicles are in the shop. I need my vehicle repaired and returned to me expeditiously.Initial Complaint

I purchased a used car from this dealership on May 15 2025 I put 1000 down. On June 18th my check engine light came on and I immediately went to ********** and they did a diagnostic check and a code came up P015A A/F Sensor 1 Bank 1. The guy at ********** showed and stated on the paper it says permanent so they new there was an issue with the vehicle and didn't tell me anything about it. Which is misrepresentation. I contacted ** at the dealership he told me to bring it to be serviced. June 20th I took my vehicle to the dealership and they stated it would be 192 for them to see what's going on. I don't feel like I should have to pay for what they should of fixed in the first place. The car is a lemon. ************* I was told it was a durable reliable vehicle and it's not. I picked up my vehicle on January ******* for a service appt that was covered under warranty. I was told that I would be given rental reimbursement by the service advisor as well as it was approved for a daily rate spelled out in the attached documents. It is now April, I can't get a manager or any individual to explain where my check is. This is absolutely ridiculous. I buy a brand new car, get a repair done covered by warranty and am still waiting on a check. I do not know what else to do other than to stay away from this poorly ran dealership. This business advertised certain things, example no money down, no matter what credit rating. Those were lies. They wanted money down, they wanted my husband and my inlaw all to co sign, said I only had the option of one vehicle and we found out that the sales man ****** was trying to put the loan in my inlaws name only and just have me pay for the vehicle. He also tried to mislead us on the payment amounts. He also wanted us to create fake email accounts for my in-laws even though my mother in law has an email account. To make it all worse after we told them no because it sounded illegal and fishy they have proceeded to run mine and my husband's credit so many times it has gotten flagged so we couldn't go elsewhere to find a vehicle. ****** the salesman knew I was on a time crunch for a new vehicle and now it will take weeks to clear up the flag on my credit. Thanks to all this I missed my father's birthday in the nursing home. ****** was also very smart as to not text the questionable things. He would only say those over the phone or in person. While at the dealership he was even saying to wreck vehicles and have insurance pay them off instead of letting the bank repossess them.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2012 VW Passat from ******, I took out a warranty. I have tried several attempts to cancel the warranty but my request have been ignored. I finally decided to use the warranty but the dealership doesnt honor it, they said they would have someone call me with places that honor it, as usual I have heard from no one, I want this warranty money, approximately $4000 removed from my total cost. They committed to providing excellent service, and instead sold us a lemon vehicle that they don't want to trade out for another vehicle. I have gone to the dealership to have service done told them the issues and still they're not budging. Our vehicle has acceleration problems and blowing smoke and check engine light was on 2 days after we purchased vehicle. I purchased vehicle on 2/2/2024. Was told there was a full safety inspection prior to purchase. Called sales person on 2/4 about the bad alignment and she told me it was not a recommended fix by the service department. Contacted them on 2/12 about brake pads since light came on. They had to fix. At 2 months I took car in for oil change and a malfunction code on 4/17 (vehicle was drivable and had no issues when dropped off). They said my vehicle ********* suv) would be done same day. Turns out they were unable to check it on their own and had to send it to ******** dealership to check the code. They had my car sitting for over a week before they sent to ******** then it sat at ******** for 2 weeks because meador wasnt communicating with them. After calling constantly and receiving no response I had to find transportation to get to the dealership for an update. They told me the vehicle has bad suspension and would cost $4000 at my expense. I Finally received vehicle on 5/9 in bad condition. completely different condition than it was when I dropped it off. They gave my vehicle to me on a flat tire and tilted and unsafe driving condition(never had issues with my tires or vehicle being tilted). I brought it to service advisor ***** attention that my tire was flat, push start button was missing, and the vehicle was also tilted and looked unsafe to drive but he advised me that it was fine (it was raining on top of that and they would not offer any other transportation for me to get home). I drove it home and vehicle skid across the freeway and brakes were scraping and wouldnt work in time and I almost had an accident due to the unsafe conditions of the vehicle. Never had any issues with the brakes prior to drop off. Got home and tire was on flat AGAIN. Called to speak to service manager and Assistant GM and General Manager about the conditions and of course no response or call back.Business Response

Customer ***************************** brought her vehicle in for an air ride suspension issue on 4/17/24. We took the vehicle to ********** ******** for diagnosis. Park Place identified the issue and needed $4000.00 to begin the repairs with no guarantee that it would be a final fix - just a first step. ******* was offered an extended warranty to protect her investment and declined the warranty at the time of sale. ******* also signed an as-is agreement upon purchase of the vehicle. Upon purchase of my vehicle, I was promised lifetime oil changes for as long as I owned the vehicle at any Jeep certified dealership. All was working fine until my most recent trip in for an oil change (Feb 29, 2024) when the dealership informed me that my lifetime oil changes were no longer showing in the system. I called and attempted to live chat the Meador Auto location where I bought the vehicle with no response in either direction. I drove three hours to physically stop into the location to get the matter solved. It was there that the company told me that they were under new ownership and that the lifetime oil policy was given to me from the previous owners. I was never informed as a consumer that there was a change in ownership and that my oil changes that were promised to me at purchase from Meador Autos will be no longer observed. Both companies tried to bounce me back and forth between old and new owners with no resolve. Progress by ***** LLC, who were the owners of the dealership when I purchased the car essentially said they are not going to honor the commitment that was given to me while under their ownership. I am asking for help in getting the oil change policy that I was promised put back into affect.Business Response

The vehicle was bought prior to our ownership and we would honor any valid contracts sold on the vehicle but there is no contract for a lifetime oil. We have provided the contact information that we have for the previous owners as this is not a misrepresentation from our store. We would be willing to work with you on a reduced cost true lifetime oil plan but we cannot honor a contract that was never sold.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I understand that ownership has changed but, your acquisition of the business should not affect the promises that are made to your customers whether they purchase a vehicle before or after the ownership change. Whether it is the current of previous owners, my promise should be honored. I have email correspondence with individuals employed by Meador Auto that show the promises of lifetime oil changes that I was given. I'm not sure why all of a sudden my information can not be found in the system. That makes me feel like its by choice that my lifetime oil changes were removed. ******* changes were a huge determining factor as to why I bought my vehicle from Meador and not another dealership. I would like the oil changes that I was promised at purchase of the car to be honored. Not a discount but the entire cost of an oil change.

I bought a vehicle from meador auto in ******** **. Got approved from the bank and all January 25/2024 Time come around to make my payment and the bank has no paperwork for me says to call the dealership. Now the dealership said they need to find another bank to finance me for. Ran my credit without my approval 6 more times. And Ive called multiple times and told them that I already signed the paperwork for this truck and they keep giving me the go around saying the same thing over and over bout the bank.
