I purchased a home in August 2021 for 168k and ****k down, home got delivered on june 6th 2022 ,the home i got was not the one i ordered at all .no communication whatsoever, I had to reach out all the time. No one called me to tell me they had incorrectly built my home all they said was either u keep it return it and lose ur down payment because I had to cover the delivery costs, I decided to keep it after their promise to make this a smooth sale/installation/setup the works. It's now August 16th 2022 and my home still has not been set up completely the workers coming and out of my home have been very filthy and leaving their excrement on my restrooms and pics out side. All they keep telling me is they are coming and doing work when they are not i have had to take off my work schedule and lost wages due to this unbelievable stressful and traumatic experience. ********************************** . Have been nothing but a very discouraging disappointment to me and my family and want this over with on a timely fashion I have been more than patient with them after they broke their business promise to me , not once twice but more than 10 times and countingBusiness Response

Legacy apologizes for any inconvenience that the customer has gone through, upon further review of the pictures the customer submitted. We determined that the house in question is not a Legacy home and any former complaints must be done through the correct manufacturer.Initial Complaint

We ordered and purchased a new single wide mobile home and have experienced a PLETHORA of issues from the factory! The catalogs offered from dealer had multiple falsely advertised options that have not been available and this was not communicated to dealer or customers when purchasing and ordering. We ordered multiple options from catalog that were not AVAILABLE yet factory still moved forward with building process with no communication. We now have extra issues in our home, preventing us from using everything properly, not to mention we did not receive everything we paid for! These issues extend the character limit on the complaint website so we would like to be contacted by Legacy Housing and BBB for resolution of issues. We would now like to request 50% of the cost of home as we did not receive everything we paid for as well as multiple issues in a brand new home!!Business Response

Legacy Housing will uphold any warranty obligations, the electrical issues are being fixed on Tuesday 8/30. The retailer has contacted a contractor and is pending on an estimate to fix the windows, flooring, ventilation, and any other issues. Federal Investors has been quite literally the rudest most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. We have been late on our mortgage and been talked mess to about it from ******, an account representative there, we have also been degraded and called curse words by this man. We have filed complaints with his manager and nothing has been done. Most recently we had tried to make a payment within the time before we would recieve a late fee and our payment has changed. They said that our bank charges them a 4% fee, We spoke to our bank, and they denied ever charging any kind of fee, They also let us know that Federal investors has pulled payments on days that were not authorized by us while Federal investors claimed they only pulled our payments on the first. They refuse to send us an itemized bill as well to try and help us see what it is that we are paying. They continue to give us contradicting statements on information with these payments and quite honestly I'm tired of them still being in business doing the same thing to other people.Business Response

A review of this account shows multiple conversations with the customer explaining the fees associated with processing certain payment options. As with most other mortgage servicers, Federal Investors charges a fee to cover credit and debit card transactions. The 4% card fee covers the credit card processing fees we are charged along with the other administrative costs of processing the transaction. There is no charge to mail payments or to have payments automatically drafted from a bank account.
If an account is set up on auto-draft, the payments are generally taken on the same day every month. However, due to holidays, internal processing delays, or the processing times of the customers financial institution, the exact draft date cannot be guaranteed. Customers are encouraged to reach out to their respective bank to get more details on processing times for auto-drafts.
An itemized payment history or pending amounts due statement may be provided by sending a written request to ************************************** and should include your loan number and where the statement should be sent. The statements may be provided via email or via **** if requested.
A thorough review of the account does not support the allegation that the customer was treated in an unprofessional manner. I am rejecting this response because: ************** I have asked for a manager or even a resolutions specialist and yet nobody was willing to help us out. As stated before I would like to have a change in account manager and I would like the phone number to the person in charge of customer relations. I understand you may think you are providing excellent customer service, but the fact that none of my NUMEROUS previous complaints have been documented, that shows a lack in documentation on your end. Please reach out to me via ************ to discuss the issues Ive had further. I appreciate your response, but ultimately I dont feel as though my concerns are being taken seriously by anyone up there. My time on this loan with you has been nothing short of being stressful and problem filled. Nobody was willing to provide me an email until now to get a statement for the loan, or a breakdown of the bill. I have been hung up on, called out of my name, and disrespected numerous times and it seems as though nobody up there is willing to hold these employees accountable. I sincerely hope we can reconcile our consumer/business relationship, but its going to have to start with you and your employees taking some responsibility for the strife and stress caused. I understand the 4% fee and per my last payment I have no issue paying it. I have an issue with all of the different information that keeps being thrown my way, again Id really hate to have to take this any further.
