My wife travels to ********** each week for work. I used my points and money to reserve a room for her. The card that I had on file was incorrect so i entered my current card, updating my card. The app confirmed the change and then furthermore confirmed the reservation. A few minutes later I received an email confirmation. A little later I received check-in information on the app. I even checked into the room on the app. We live two hours away from ********** and she has to work at 6:00PM in the ** at the hospital just across the street. When she tried to check in, ****** told her the card on file was not good. He then confirmed the old card was the one he was going on. I checked again that the updated card was on file and by all indications on my end it was. ****** sounded like maybe he was new, or maybe he was just intimidated by a frustrated caller, but after talking over me and continually interrupting me i asked for a manager. Meantime my wife had to find another hotel at 5:00 in the afternoon having to be at work at 6:00 PM, ****** or something similar, got on the phone but she refused to answer my questions. She wanted to talk about things not related to the issues. I advised her that what she was talking about had nothing to do with what I was calling about and I said "I do not care about that information and tried to explain to her what I was trying to find out, and she interrupted me stating, "well I don't care about you" and she hung up on me. I am still shocked she hung up on me. I called back, of course's boss, and got ****** again to find out who the person was that the general manager reported to, but again i was interrupted by ****** who said we can't do anything else for you and again hung up on me. A service industry rep told me she didnt care about me. I do find that kind of funny. My gut tells me she hung up on me and told ****** to because she knew I was going to ask for her boss.
