1/11/2022pre-op appointment with ************** & was provided a listing of who to contact and how much to pay for the Surgery Center ($1,111.00) & the anesthesia provider (********). Surgery scheduled for 1/20/2022. 1/12/202, 1/14 & 1/17called the Medical City Surgery Center, no answer, left a voice mail for someone to return my call so that I could make my co-pay payments of $1,111.00. 1/19/2022at 4:30 pm, a lady from the Surgery Center called requesting my payment, but stated that I owed $1,987.96. I said that wasnt correct & that she needed to speak with ************** office as they ran all of the numbers & the most that I would owe was $1,111.00. The Surgery Center called me back & said now the total was different & that I needed to pay $2,742.94 immediately or my surgery would be cancelled which was scheduled for the next morning. So I had no choice but to pay the $2,742.94. I then received a phone call from ******************* from the surgery center (about 7:00 *** ***** stated that yes, she agreed I was overcharged & that she would work everything out immediately & get me my correct refund. 1/20/2022prior to surgery ************** visited with me & knew about the mix up regarding the incorrect payment to the surgery center. As partial owner of the surgery center, she agreed that I was overcharged & this would be handled immediately with a refund coming back to me. 1/25/2022, 1/27/2022, 1/31/2022, 2/3/2022, 2/22/2022, 3/13/2022various emails with *******************, *************** Manager at the Surgery center as well as phone calls and voice messages no resolution and now radio silence. My BCBS EOB shows that I should have paid only $1,122.93 which results in a refund of $1,620.01. The Surgery Center has not responded to my emails or voice messages. I would like my refund ASAP.
