MHI / ******** Homes in Pleasant Valley/Dominion. My advice to anyone looking at purchasing a home from ******** re-think this through. For staring to end it has been a complete nightmare! The detail to the home interior and exterior is poor! Within 8 months of buying a brand new build after waiting 18 months to have it built, 27 windows have been replaced, doors and cupboards have fallen off due to crappy workmanship of using incorrect screws or just not using them in all the appropriate holes, Trim on baseboards are not painted or sealed, there is not a straight wall in the entire home, masterbathroom was not operable for 8 months, bend hoses underneath the sinks in several bathrooms (were not installed correctly) and roofing issues are major. Not flashing was ever installed anywhere and a PROFESSIONAL we felt we needed to pay found a huge hole in the side of the home above a window. We have been told by other contractors that have looked over our new home he did not know how this home would have passed inspection with the home builder that passes it off. Drainage system is a joke and have had several other neighbors complaining of major water issues as well. They ruined our new, upgraded kitchen counters by letting the workers cook on prepare food in our new kitchen. The counters actually had to be replaced. When you call warranty, they try their hardest to not fix the problems telling the homeowner all sorts of excuses like its cosmetic or we don't cover. Worst experience with sales, building manager, warranty ***** etc. I can't believe this company does not have any respect for the name "********" and care about the quality of work they use.
