  BBB promotes truth in advertising by contacting advertisers whose claims conflict with the BBB Code of Advertising. These claims come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints, and competitor challenges.  BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers clearer to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements.

  On July 10, 2023, BBB contacted Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy regarding advertised claims on their website https://replenishhydration.com/. 

  Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy advertises claims their IVs can "help you fight fatigue; recover after workouts; increase immunity; bounce back from hangovers; boost your energy and make up for nutritional deficiencies; support your immune system; re-energize and focus after a long trip or working long hours; help with appetite suppression and boosts the metabolism; smooth away dry skin, blemishes, wrinkles, and promote the growth of healthy hair; boost collagen production for faster recovery from surgery." Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy advertises the benefits of NAD+ IVs including: "NAD+ helps with cell regeneration, brain function, and slows the aging process. NAD+ therapy delivered intravenously can be a blessing for your health and energy."  

  BBB Code of Advertising states, that claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. BBB requested Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy provide any evidence including but not limited to studies from recent and competent testing or other objective data substantiating their services and claims about their services or discontinue any statements claiming results. 

  Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy also advertises their CBD IV "helps with pain relief, anxiety, nausea, reduce acne". BBB was unable to confirm FDA approval and the claimed result of CBD IV and requested Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy to substantiate the advertised claim by providing evidence from recent, reliable, and competent studies or other objective data substantiating these claims of their specific products or discontinue the advertised claims to address our concern.

  BBB also requested Replenish IV Hydration & Vitamin Therapy provide their source(s) for the clinical trials cited on their website under Dermal Fillers, including "How Long do Restylane treatments last?" 

  As of August 31, 2023, Replenish IV Hydration & IV Vitamin Therapy failed to respond to BBB's request to substantiate or discontinue the advertised claims.
