On early July I have leased a ********** from the ** ****** Gapikia (managing the ************** Jersey City). Despite several emails and phone calls highlighting the following issues:Inadequate Fuel Level: The vehicle was delivered with less than one-third of a tank of fuel. In my experience leasing vehicles, I have never received a car without a full tank, and this falls far below industry standards.Poor Vehicle Condition: The car was not properly detailed upon delivery. The back interior was visibly dirty, and there was a hard glue **** on the back side mirror, which is unacceptable for a new lease.Tire Pressure Issues: The tire pressure in all four tires was significantly off, triggering an alarm in the vehicles app. This oversight poses a safety concern and should have been addressed before delivery.Unwanted Contact: Despite my explicit request not to contact my partner, your team has repeatedly called her This disregard for my instructions is unprofessional and invasive.Delayed Temporary Plate Replacement: I was informed that the temporary plate would be replaced today, but I have now been told it is not due for another five weeks. This miscommunication is highly inconvenient and unacceptable. He refused to respond to any of those and refused to issued the permanent plate. I have escalated that via several GM channels (calls and email) and, despite one response received, as today Axis Chervolet Jersey City refused to apologies, provide a refund for the damages caused and issue the permanent plate. I can't drive or dispose of my car since the plate will expire in a few daysBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because the GM Financial has outsourced the entire lease to ********* and they are responsible for the disregardful service given by the dealership. If the business refused to take accountability for disgraceful services and the damages cause by refusing to issue permanent plate, this matter will be escalated to courtInitial Complaint

I called and requested as a courtesy the company remove a recent late payment reported to the *************. The late payment is negatively affecting my credit score and at this time, I need my credit score.I was unable to make the payment because the app requires a verification code, and these codes were not being received. As soon as I was able to receive the code, I made my payments on 6/15, 6/27, and 7/11. As the problem had been resolved and I was able to bring my account current. As a one time courtesy I am asking that the late payment stop being reported. I believe my request to be reasonable as I was advised of this courtesy by another creditor. I appreciate your assistance with this matter.Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally complain about GM Financial regarding issues with my 2025 ***** Traverse Z71 that remain unresolved. In May 2025, while driving with my toddlers home from a family trip, the cars transmission failed at ****** miles, causing a dangerous situation on the road. After 29 days of repairs at ****************, I picked up the vehicle only to have it shut off two days later in a parking lot, leaving me stranded in 104-degree heat. This is a really big safety issue. When I reached out to GMC ******, they informed me that no rental cars were available. After further inspection at ****** Chevrolet, I learned that loose battery connections had been overlooked by the previous dealerships so my car can be rushed out out of there and not qualify for the Lemon law. Ive attempted to resolve this with GM Financial, requesting an extension of my powertrain warranty to 9 or 10 years and compensation for my inconveniences (one month credit) but my requests were dismissed. Notta said that she can just do my warranty to what I already have now (not ethically, right) 6 year/72k I paid extra for that when I bought the vehicle. I seek your assistance in mediating this issue so GM Financial can reimburse me for my financial losses ( at least a months payment) and extend the warranty to cover future transmission issues from the six year extended warranty that I have now too a 9-10 year warranty. I want to feel safe and make sure Im covered in case this happens again. Thank you!Business Response

I am writing to file a complaint against GM Financial for inaccurate and unlawful reporting of a late payment on my credit report.Despite multiple disputes, GM Financial continues to report my June payment as 30 days late. As of todays date, it is only June 10th, making it factually impossible for the payment to be 30 days past due. This reporting is visibly inaccurate, misleading, and damaging to my credit standing.I have disputed this error multiple times directly with GM Financial and through the credit bureaus. Instead of correcting the obvious inaccuracy, GM Financial and the credit bureaus keep updating the same false information, in clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which requires furnishers to report accurate information and correct errors promptly. This false late payment is negatively impacting my credit score and overall financial standing. I request that the **** investigate this matter and compel GM Financial to immediately correct my credit report to accurately reflect the payment history.Business Response

I had refinanced with my credit Union for my auto loan they had sent a check on 6/05/2025 and I had waited a week before calling Gm to confirm arrival of the check. They said they had never received it but my credit Union had stated not only did they receive the check but they had cashed it on June 12th after much back and forth it turns out they had cashed the check and applied it to the wrong ********** seems they refuse to help because they keep asking for another check as of 07/06/2025 and are trying to not accept the blame. Ive had multiple conversations with a supervisor and it seem they are doing everything they can to get another check from the credit Union and they are trying to shift the blame.Business Response

To the Better Business Bureau,I am submitting this complaint regarding GM Financial and their reporting of two 30-day late payments ******************* 2019) on my auto loan account (#**********, which has been paid in full and closed as of October 2019 with a $0 balance.Although the account is closed and shows Paid as Agreed in some areas, the late payments are still impacting my credit and preventing me from securing a home loan. I contacted GM Financial directly and explained that I was experiencing a financial hardship during that time and did not receive any billing notices. I quickly brought the account current and ultimately paid it in full.Despite this, and my record as a loyal customer, ********************** informed me that they do not accept goodwill requests and would not assist in removing or updating the negative reporting.I believe this is unfair and not reflective of my payment history overall. Industry standards, including Metro 2 guidelines, recommend consistency in reporting, and it is misleading for a closed, paid account with no balance to still show derogatory marks. Im asking GM Financial to take a customer-first approach and show goodwill by removing the two 30-day lates and reporting the account accurately.I appreciate the BBBs help in mediating this matter so I can move forward with my homeownership plans.Business Response

I recently reviewed my credit report and found two accounts reported by **********************/GM Financial, both listed as auto loans. One account ending in ****** was opened on February 26, 2021, with a balance of $11,411, and the second account ending in ****** was opened on March 5, 2021.I do not recognize these accounts, nor did I authorize or apply for any loans with this company. These entries appear to be the result of identity theft.I am requesting that AMERICREDIT/GM Financial investigate this matter thoroughly and remove these fraudulent accounts from my credit file. I would also appreciate written confirmation once the accounts have been reviewed and addressed.Business Response
