- The YWCA El Paso Del Norte Region addresses significant and varied community needs through the operation of the following mission-driven programs:
* 13 Early Learning Centers for children age birth through age twelve;
* Forty plus After-School programs held in elementary schools within our region;
* Summer Camp for School-Age children within an urban setting;
* Health and Wellness programs for all ages including activities on land and within our swimming pools;
* Transitional Living Center for women and families experiencing homelessness;
* Affordable Senior Housing Community'
* Racial Justice initiatives including conversations with the community involving all ages;
* Consumer Credit Counseling Service including establishment of Debt Management Plans;
* Home Ownership programs including education, counseling and Mortgage Default mitigation; and
* Leadership and Community Involvement initiatives for Teens;
We operate three facilities assisting those experiencing homelessness and one facility for low income senior housing. We serve children in eleven early learning academies, 44 after-school locations, four summer camps and through several teen leadership programs. We offer financial educational opportunities, financial counseling and housing and home ownership assistance, including assistance to eligible Veterans. We operate wellness programs including fitness and aquatics at five YWCA branch locations and hold opportunities for racial dialog and understanding among community members. - Business Categories
