I hired Hawkeye painting to paint my driveways and and the decorative pop outs at my home.I personally met with ***************************, the owner when he came by and gave me an estimate. My husband then called and scheduled him to stop by and talk over the estimate, at that point they both negotiated a price and a start date. Both my husband and I had explained we needed something durable for our driveways. When the work started the employees painted all the driveways at once leaving us unable to even walk into our home, we then talked to the owner about that and he said it was fine to use one of the entrances and they would come back and retouch. They told us to park our vehicles on the street two weeks at the most. That is exactly what we did. When they were painting the cornice at the top of the house there were two employees doing the work with a flimsy ladder on a two story with one of the employees holding the ladder. The employee painting fell off the ladder broke my roof tiles and the decorative pop out on the house. They said they would come back and fix it. After two weeks of parking our cars on the street we started parking in our driveways. Right away we started to notice the paint chipping and lots of markings, we also noticed a thick cover of dirt covering the driveways due to something they used in the paint, as we had never had that happen before. The sidewalk area on the side of the house where I keep my dogs started chipping within a week, I noticed they did not use any type of primer or prepare the sidewalk before it was painted. We have reached out to Hawkeye for a resolution and have been getting the run around even though the owner said he was willing to fix the problems. We tried putting our house on the market and the driveways were a big problem, I still have broken roof tiles and broken decorative pop outs.
