I went to buy a car on June 29th. I explained Im a single mother struggling. I only had 4K on ******** was worth $6,650. We didn't do it off credit, I told him I had some cash at home that I was supposed to send him when I got home. The same day I took the car home the check engine turned on. I let him know I took it to auto zone and they said it was a leak in the engine. I took it to him the next morning after I got ******* called me saying "we did the oil change and the check engine turned off by itself so what else do you want us to do to it?" so I asked "well scan it because they told me there was a leak like I had told you" he asked me to leave it over night and messaged me the next day it was ready. I'm sure they did nothing to it. I went straight home that day. Again the day after I got it back I decided to head out. Coming back home from dropping off someone the air stopped working and it smelled super ugly like oil?? It also felt ugly as I was driving it. It wasnt accelerating right. I called him again telling him there was something definitely wrong with the jeep. I asked if I could exchange it or get my money back. He said he was out of town till Tuesday. Then called me private to tell me we can work things out Tuesday. I waited, missed the days of work. I took the car on Tuesday July 5, as I got there I asked him if I could just exchange the car because I cant be struggling with a new vehicle AGAIN and I didnt trust it. After he had offered me an option to exchange it for a sonata he took it back and said no I need 2k right now if you want to exchange it because now I dont trust youre going to even give me the money. He didnt want to exchange it or give me my money back. He told me the car would be ready by the end of the day then asked me to go for it and bring it back to him to fix the rest. I said no. I do not want it back until it is 100% working. I lost my job. I cant even get home.
