I had ************** insurance for more than a year and I was paying full coverage. When I got in a car accident, I filed a claim they told me that my car was total loss. They were quick on getting an inspector to see the damages & getting it towed to one of their insurance body shops to get it fully inspected to see if it was repairable or not. I thought they were quick on handling my claim but come to find out they took more than 3 weeks give me an offer. When they finally decide to contact me to give me an offer on my truck, I wasn't happy with the amount I kept arguing back and forth with them to give me a better offer which they denied. I ended up taking the offer. The following day, I received another call from the insurance asking me if I knew where was my truck. I was confused when they asked me that because I thought they knew where it was since they told me, "I called the shop where you told us they took it and they said they don't have no record of your vehicle being dropped off". I got worried so I went to the shop and they told me the same thing that they didn't have no record in their system nor record of paperwork. I did more digging and then they told me that they had taken it to auction. When they told me that, I asked them, "How is that possible if you guys never called me to get my consent or get a signature from me to release it?". They said, "We contacted your father and he gave the approval", which is a lie because they never had my fathers phone number and it makes no sense on why would they call someone when they are not the owner of the car!! Then the adjuster told me that in order for me to receive my check, I had to take the title to auction and my check was going to get released within 7 to 10 days. I called the following week for an update and from that day the adjuster said, "My manager hasn't signed it". It's been a month and still getting the same BS. He never answers my phone calls and when he does, he always made excuses to hang up.
