My daughter and roommate went in to the leasing office to sign a relet. They specifically informed the office staff that they were wanting to sublet an apartment for them to rent. They were told the process of reletting, assisted them with signing the lease, as they would be roommates, and were told nothing else. Several months later, we received emails stating "their roommate assignment" which gave them both a random roommate. When we called the office, they told us roommates written down on the lease were only suggestions and not guaranteed. Now, we have to find new tenants on our own to relet the apartment to since they did not get assigned each other as a roommate. TERRIBLE communication, they deliberately withheld information, after asking several questions regarding the process, then tell us since we signed the lease, it's our responsibility now.

Horrible customer service and taking advantage of my student and me as a parent. This business might be violating federal and state laws and need to be reported to the ***** attorney general to investigate

The amenities are fine, and the leasing staff are friendly and helpful, though - not through their own fault - limited in their capacity to solve problems around billing. After the property moved to a new third party payment collector, card fees jumped $20 per payment and on my last month's rent I was charged twice. Despite reaching out to both the third party - entrata - as well as both the leasing office and billing agent, I was ignored until I filed a dispute on the second payment. Both payments went through according to the Forum's billing manager, but I never received a credit and they ignored me until I charged it back, at which point they hit me with an NSF fee for $35. Only a week later did I get a response from billing saying they had no power over fees in their system and essentially refusing to deal with their third party on the matter.I'm paying the fee because it's not worth my time at this point but somebody might be interested to know that they have been not only unhelpful but negligent in the matter. That person might also be interested in knowing the following about the ***** Business and Commerce Code:Sec. *****. PROCESSING FEE BY HOLDER OF PAYMENT DEVICE. (a) For purposes of this section, "payment device" means any check, item, paper or electronic payment, or other payment device used as a medium for payment.(b) On return of a payment device to the holder following dishonor of the payment device by a payor, the holder, the holder's assignee, agent, or representative, or any other person retained by the holder to seek collection of the face value of the dishonored payment device may charge the drawer or indorser a maximum processing fee of $30.Seeing as they either charged me $35 on a "dishonored payment" (that resulted from their clerical mistake) or allowed their third party entrata to - despite my best efforts to reach out with documentation on the matter - I think one star is barely merited.
