              I visited my doctor on July 26, 2023 for a med check. The doctor has coded it incorrectly as a physical which it wasn't because I did not receive all of the services normally provided as a physical. Since you are only allowed 1 physical a year, I was charged full price for a physical. I have disputed this bill with Texas Health and got no where. I involved my Health Advocate to negotiate it for me. It is still in dispute as the doctor's ****** spoke to my Health Advocate and said they were adjusting the code and resending it to Aetna last week. Texas Health sold my debt while it was in dispute and now it is at a collection agency. I was told that this would not happen while my bill was in dispute. The collection agency says I owe more than the original bill! I am concerned that this will hurt my stellar credit. Texas Health has not responded to my email about this so I am taking this route. Texas Health needs to fix this ASAP. I am disappointed that a business can be so unprofessional.

              This rating is not about the doctors I have encountered with this group and the care I have received from them - so far that is excellent and not complaints.I will not equate the quality of care to the business practices. The business practice of this organization though is beyond bad - they will and probably have robbed you. Customer service is people working from home that *** or *** not record everything on their computer when you call to file complaints. Their itemized billing requires a PHD in reading ridiculousness. They have billed and taken money that is not theirs to take (didnt owe according to all insurance documents). Their billing practices are so outlandish that they have made sure at this point that they can claim Im not owed money back. DONT go paperless billing because they wipe out access to previous information and you cant access it for records! I will continue my fight for money owed back to me from billing in Oct 22! Im not done! Print and keep copies of everything! and be sure to compare what your insurance EOBs are versus the ******** sent out by this group! They hope in todays digital world they can get away with mismanagement of funds that result in their gain! They also hope seniors just will pay their bills and not question.
