Ken's Appliance was contratced with My home warranty company to come reepair my clothes dryer. He came to my home on 9/27/2021 to check the unit and see what was needed for the repairs. I paid him the $60 cash service fee because he said that his CC reader wasn't working that I had to pay cash. He also stated that he spoke to ******************* and that they did not want to pay the repairs due to the age of the unit and that were instead they were going to give me a pay out. He said he would come back the next day and repair the unit and then I was to contact them about the payout. He told me to tell them that I paid him $260. He came back the next day charged me an additional $135. Total of $195 for th service fee and the repairs and he told me to wait a couple of days and then contact *** about the reinbursement that they would give me $200 for the unit. Latere that night I tested the dryer and it still was not working, I texted him and told him that the issue was not fixed and he reponded then saying he was trying to get *** to cover a motor for my wahser. I told him the issue is with my dryer. and he said he meant the dryer. I then contacted *** and they stated that the technichian never confirmed the visit and that he never submitted any request to them for anything. I have been in phone and email contact with ***, he will not respond to them nor I to resolve the issue. Basically he came to my home and stole $195.00 from me and still did not fix my dryer.
