I'm writing to request a refund of my meal placed on Sept. 21, 2023.  I went to your location after work to place a to-go order of your chicken fried chicken meal.  After waiting over 15min, I received my order and went home.  After I got home I opened my order only to see that I was given overcooked/burnt chicken (3 pieces).  of course I was upset, one because I couldn't believe they would even serve that to anyone and 2nd I sat and waited on the order and would now have to drive back and it was now after 6pm!  I first called the business and spoke with the manager, she was very apologetic and asked if I wanted to have them remake the meal or a refund, I asked for a refund.  she then said for me to bring the meal back up there?? I repeated to her "bring it back to you?" she said yes.  I now had to get back dressed and drive back to the restaurant.  I got there and the young lady that waited on me initially(very friendly) was still there and I told her what happened.  she started ringing something up on the register and I asked was I getting refunded and she said" yes, she then said: she(the manager) told me to refund you and apologized again and asked if I would like a treat for my inconvenience.  I said yes, I will take a slice of cake.  she said okay and that she(the manager) said she is having my order remade and to have a seat.  I will say they both was very polite and apologetic, which made my experience more forgivable.  I checked my account today and noticed that they never refunded my $22.68 back to me, which is why I'm filing this complaint.
