The company was contracted to do a pool renovation. They informed me during the quoting process they are not close to the cheapest but they are a national company and will get the job done well and on time. I was told when I made the deposit on March 9 2022 the job would start 4-6 weeks from that date depending primarily on rainy weather(it has been very dry). I didn't hear anything from the contractor so I reached out on March 31 to find out if we are even on the schedule. Derrick with ASP responded via text "Hey *******, of course, you are on the list for a remodel. I don't have a date set just yet, but as soon as I have a start date you'll be the first to know." Texted on April 11 @ 9:46 am to find out if we are even on the schedule. The contractor did not respond all day so I called Derrick by phone at 4:44 pm. He informed me his crew was behind and we could touch base next week. Called Derrick on April 18 at 4:58 pm. He informed me we were to meet on Friday April 22 with the contractor to walk the job. Nothing Friday morning so I texted him at 11:47 am asking if we are meeting today. He responded at 12:04 pm "Hey good afternoon, I haven't heard back from my crew yet. I was hoping to be there by 2 so I will let you know in just a few." @12:53 pm he texted " He isn't going to be able to meet me today but he did tell me we are starting the end of next week latest will be the 2nd. Should have everything wrapped up by the 12th." Running out of room going to abbreviate. May 2 9:26am - No show, No answers except they should have been there at 7:30am. Asked to speak with boss. May 3 9am - boss will call. 12pm - I asked for a refund 5/4 1:15 - boss not call Debi(boss) called- Gave 5% discount crew starts Friday. Debi next day - opps next Friday. Drained 5/12 Demoed tile/coping afternoon 5/13 Layed tile 5/16 afternoon No other work has been done. 10 foot deep empty pool(pit of death) is in my backyard.
