    Dear Sir,

I'm writing a complaint on the recent business practice of StackPath (stackpath.com). Recently we realized we were overcharged for their services. There were 3 automatic payments deducted from our bank account: on Feb 17 2023 for NZ$89.95, on March 8 for NZ$181.71, and April 11 for $196.73. They argued that they sent email notification back in February of the price increases. But I did not read the email. I believe for such a drastic price increase going from $35/mo to $200/mo or 600%, requires written agreement from their automatic paying customers. I believe email notification is a one way communication easily missed. Emails could have gone unread in spam folder, and customers like us could miss it. We might not be the only one experiencing this. And those customers like us on automatic payments were not aware of these drastic charges until we did our quarterly accounting.

We feel that they took more of our money than what we agreed to pay. $468.39 would usually cover over 13 months of their services per $35/mo. This price increase notification by email, hoping customers did not notice it, is I believe an unfair business practice. Their management should have instead instructed the team to obtain a written agreement from their long time customers (we have been with them since Feb 2021) on automatic payments.

We are seeking for a refund for these price differences.

    Kind Regards,

    Rendy
    Director
