Pathetic Company. I sent my Money to my wife 2 days ago and she hast received it. I waited till the due date ended. I called them and of course the call center being in *****. They couldn't find where my money was and I asked them for a refund and they say refund is not possible because it was in process. The agent by mistake said the money was sent to ******* but the money was supposed go to **********. They said the problem will be resolved in 10 days and later they turned around and said oh sorry it is 30 days. Dont use Moneygram instead use Remitley very fast service.MoneyGram Response

Worst service ever. I sent a mobile wallet money and it was supposed to be delivered within minutes, to my biggest surprise 1h later the person did not receive the money. Then I reached out to them and was told that it will be delivered by end of wait and I waited and waited, next day nothing. Now I called to have my transfer cancelled and they are telling me that they can not cancel the transaction and want me to wait 90 days for it. Not to mentioned that the transfer was sent twice, and the amounts are a total of $2,040.00. This is an emergency the person is at the hospital waiting to get treatment and the money is not delivered. Completely ridiculous, would never recommend itMoneyGram Response

Wish you add a Zero or minus star. NEVER EVER use this service. No trust, NO reliability, NO service, just b--ls--t. I sent money to a friend in ******. Use their direct to account system, and puffff, disappeared. My friend never received the money. I filed a complaint twice, they took a while, and ended up by saying the money was sent, and they don't reimburse even it was not true. Now, Where is my money. My guess... in Moneygram hands. I'm looking to send this case to some protector of the citizen on bank and money stuff. Don't trust this company. it's puffy clouds.MoneyGram Response

I am hearing disabled and have tinnitus. My mother has dimension and I had to obtain guardianship and conservator of her to manage her money and take care of her. I had send MoneyGram from our joint bank account. I went to **** of America to set up a conservator bank account for her and against my will, they closed the joint bank account before a ********************************************* fully processed. So the bank account withdraw that funded the moneygram was rejected. I made the moneygram transaction from my personal account afterwards. ******************** then closed my online moneygram account for disputing the transaction. I did not dispute it, when I notified the bank, they shut it down against my will. I had no control over it. Their lawyers shut it down and created a new conservator account and moved all the money into it from her account and our joint account. I explained this on chat to the moneygram representative and she did not care and did not want to remedy a situation that was beyond my control. I have been a moneygram member for many years. I will never use moneygram again. Moneygram is a horrible company and there is far better alternatives available.MoneyGram Response

I filed a fraud complaint against a shady business and instead of closing out the business, they decided to advise me not to use their system to send money again. It took me 45 minutes to file a complaint only for them to suspend my usage of their money transfer application. I advise anyone using moneygram to never use them. It is all about making money. They do not care about complaints of fraud as long as they are making money. Fraudsters have fun with moneygram because they will not do anything about your shady dealings. It is ironic they have a tab in the ap to file a complaint, but it is only decorations. Do not waste your time filing any type of scam or fraud complaints.MoneyGram Response

MoneyGram was good when I was sending funds once a month but when I started sending funds three to four times a month my account was closed. When ask why I was told that they felt uncomfortable, now how in the h*** can you feel that way when $100 to $400 is being sent , I can understand trying to send $1,000 a week , now that seems suspicious. Its ok its other apps to use If you are going to send more than once a month run from MoneyGram.MoneyGram Response

I wish I could do less than one star. Please avoid using MoneyGram if you have any respect for yourself. I created an account to send ********************** to a family member overseas to help build a house for them. After entering in all of my information, I was told that they were unable to complete my transaction and I had to call them. After waiting for over 10 minutes for an agent, I was put on hold almost immediately and then told that they were "not comfortable with my profile" and I could never complete an online transaction with them again. Absolutely ridiculous experience, please don't use this service.MoneyGram Response

I am very disappointed of MoneyGram. I have been sending wire transfers to my two ******* bank accounts that I have opened there. MoneyGram promised me a higher exchange rate than the competition if you can wait 3 to 4 business days for the deposit to be completed. 3 out of 6 wires that I sent were canceled by MoneyGram. They play the blaming game and they said that it is the receiving banks that canceled the transactions. They take up to 12 days for they to refund the money to my account in the U.S. Not only they take advantage of my money for having it available for so many days to fund other transfers but also how dishonest they are to always blame the receiving banks. I called the banks in ****** and they reassured me that MoneyGram never attempted to make the deposits into my accounts. I am not longer using them to wire money to ******.MoneyGram Response

Bad Business Practice. I wire transferred $1552.27 to clothing designer in ******, ******** for my daughter's wedding dress via MoneyGram. Designer didn't receive her payment because MoneyGram canceled the transaction. MoneyGram sent me an email on December 6th and promised to refund $1552.27 back in my WF checking account (from where the payment was made originally).Since December 6th till now I'm calling MoneyGram and also filled complaint for my issued refund but they are making excuses and denying refund. Also telling me that I should ask my WF Bank for refund. My WF Bank issued me temporary provisional credit of $1552.27 to help me out with the remaining payment of my daughter's wedding dress on time but on January 4th the Bank took their money back. The whole situation with MoneyGram and their bad business practice is causing me stress and effecting my mental health and my work. I'm done being over the phone with them and requesting my own hardworking money back from them. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I want everyone to know to be careful doing business with them. And this can happen to anyone.Please help/advise me in this matter. My heart and mind doesn't want to give up on my $1552.27 hard-earned money. I don't want MoneyGram taking advantage of me and anyone else. So i was sending money for a service from *** to Africa. Then i sent the wrong amount. I call the money gram to tell them to cancel the transaction. They told me until they get the birth date of the receiver. What the heck? I said what if the receiver will not get the money after a couple days, will i get my money back in my bank? The agent told me no until they get the date of birth of the receiver no matter how many days will it be. If this isn't crazy i don't know. So you money gram are stealing my money? The transaction is ******** and i am the sender War** *******. This is totally crazy. Why in the world moneygram want me to give the receiver date of birth which it was a business for them to cancel my transaction? I am the sender, you all should ask about me.
