It is very clear that this company takes advantage of people via ****. On 10/12/24 the car was totaled in an accident. ************* reached out to ******* soon after to receive the payout amount with me on the phone. ************* then sent a request for a letter of guarantee to Texcap Financials email address which is ****************************** This is where this rollercoaster ride drops dramatically. ************* emailed them 10/23/24 as this is the only avenue they give for customers to reach anyone. If you call their number ************ they have no one available unless you are making a payment. There is no supervisor there to help them, no one you can talk to about urgent matters ************* had been waiting quite a while for a response, so I emailed them 11/07 after calling and getting the run around again. Texcap sent nothing to the insurance until 12/10 (TWO ENTIRE MONTHS LATER) and would you guess what they sent. An email with a 10 day payoff amount not the letter of guarantee. When I called the insurance company to see what the hold up was they advised that Texcap still has not sent them the required documentation for them to issue payment. Today 12/26/24 we called Texcap AGAIN with the insurance on the phone. I ask them AGAIN what is going on. ******** gives me the same story I have been hearing for OVER two months. All he can do is collect payment. He will have to send an email for someone to contact the insurance and send the documentation even though it still has not been done in any of the previous requests. All the while the company is adding interest and reporting late payments when the insurance has been trying to pay the car off but cant. I ask him what else I can do, he says wait an hour and call back. When I did he was gone for the day. Whats hold Texcap back from submitting this information over other than the fact that they are a scam and dont have the actual title to the vehicle or they want to completely ruin my credit first.Initial Complaint

I bought my vehicle on a buy here pay here car lot. Months later it was sold to Texcap. I was doing good on my payments, then the minute I was a day or 2 late, they started calling at least 3 times a day. I got to the point to where the car repairs, car note, & car insurance was unbearable. I couldn't keep it running, so I called Texcap in September 2024 to repo the car. The daily phone calls still kept coming. If I answer, they wanna know when I can make a payment. I said it should be in your notes that I requested a voluntary reposess. The employee informed me that they put in a request for the car to be picked up on October 4, 2024, but they have yet to find someone to come get it. Still, the phone calls came Monday thru Saturday at least 3 times a day. Then one day the apartment complex put a sticker on the car to be towed because of inoperable. I contacted Texcap immediately to inform them. They say they still working on a *****************. Then said can I take it to an auction location? I can't afford to put more money in this car, I wasn't working. Finally a couple of hours ago my son told me the vehicle is gone. I did all I could do. They didn't want to pay someone to come get this vehicle or look up auction location to pay them to come get the car. The car lot sold my car to a business over 4 hours away.Initial Complaint

My car was repossessed on Thursday August 15th I called them to ask where my car was so that I can get my personal belongings I have money and other person property that has my information on it. They refuse to give me any information on my car or how to pay the balance to which is less than 1000 dollars. I made a payment a week before the repossession clearly this company is a scam and am tired of playing games. I had to find my car myself but they still won't tell me how to pay the balance to release my car. One guy laughed when I called in to ask to speak to a manager saying they won't talk to me in which I spoke to a manager months before. Really I think they pretend to be manager but are not, they made me believe that a lady name ***** was a manager and I found out Yesterday that she was just a regular employee. They lie and are very unprofessional I want a real manager to contact me and tell me by law how to get my car back or I will be filing a lawsuit against this companyInitial Complaint

I refinance my vehicle and because of the time it took for the process to go through TexCap financial was overpaid between me making my car note and them receiving payment other company. I was contacted they left a msg because they needed my address in order to send me the refund. It's been three weeks I haven't received the refund and when I've contacted customer service which they have some very poor quality people. The first two people were generally nice but lied and ****** was rude and lied. I simply want my refund and to never have any dealing with this company ever again. I haven't had any issues with them before now but after this experience I understand why they have a 1.6 rating.Customer Answer

Paid off car loan #******* on 4/26/2024 with TexCap Financials and company refuses to release the title for 90 days which is not a contractual agreement and causing extreme hardship as I cannot sell, trade or remove inoperable vehicle from my home driveway which is a community nuisance due to the eyesore it is. I did not agree to this burden without cause. I have called several times regarding this problem to be told to wait for no legitimate reason or that there is no relief for my problem when I paid the car balance in full. I need my title asap to remove the car I paid for.Initial Complaint

The company sent me a title settlement letter dated 02/20/24 however I did not receive the letter until March 15,2024. It says specifically in the letter I can pay online I tried to from March 15 to March 25th every day multiple times a day but it said I did not have an account or an account t could not be found. I filled out their contact us form on their website more than 4 times between March 15 and the 25 with twice on the 25th and each time it said someone would contact me shortly. I finally was able to call today only to be told the offer expired. This is was not my error I was in the hospital unable to call but still tried to make the payment per their letter. I have on several occasions called in 2023 to be told a supervisor or manager would call me back that day only to have no call backs. And today be told well in July 2023 the manager tried to call back but you didnt answer. No voice mail has ever been left no email has even been sent to me no text messages either for any follow up.I just want them to take the payment for the title pay off settlement that I have been trying to make since March 15th.I even tried to pay it today over the phone and the woman refused. Just let me pay the $775.00Business Response
