            My mother recently passed away on September 4th. Peaceful Rest Funeral home picked her up and did the embalming on September the 7th. I set an appointment on September 9th to come in and pick out a package for my mother's funeral. Keep in mind I picked the colors and all based off of my mother's wishes and not just because it was something I wanted. So, I chose a package that totaled out to be $4711. The insurance covered $3000 and I was able to pay the rest out of pocket. I signed a contract with that amount and everything on there. I also went back and forth to the funeral home about two other times. So, there was no issue with them contacting me or seeing me. During those next few visits there not any type of discussion regarding a change in the size of any casket or color. My mother's wake was suppose to be 9/18/2021 and they contacted me Friday the 17th at 3 something and advised that my mother would need an oversized casket and it would be another $1500. No empathy or anything.

            I lost my dad. I can't explain how I feel these people are so rude and unprofessional with customers , I paid out of pocket I've been waiting almost 2 months for a death certificate. Come to find out the death certificate is back and since the owner John H***** was friends with my uncle he called him, I thought that was unprofessional this is my dad and his sister husband , his name is not even on the paperwork. After my lost it's been almost 3 months no closure the owner wants to argue and tell me how it's suppose to be I wouldn't recommend this place at all not at a time like this you need a business that are compassionate about what they do. The messed up programs did not put my dad jewelry on I left for him. I called to question John about it he hung up on me.
