    On 1/29/2023 I placed an online order for a $450.00 Prom dress from Terry Costa. I decided to purchase the dress from Terry Costa and pay for expedited shipping because prominently displayed on their prom page and on multiple other pages on their website was the phrase "easy returns for online orders". This easy return policy was extremely important to me since I was purchasing this prom dress for my granddaughter's 18th birthday, and while she liked the dress online, we were unsure of how it would look on her. My granddaughter was scheduled to visit me in ******* from ******** to attend my son's (her uncle) wedding on 2/5/2023. The dress arrived in the afternoon Wednesday 2/1 and my granddaughter arrived late Friday night 2/3. The wedding of course consumed the weekend, so on Monday2/6 before she returned to ********, my granddaughter tried on the prom dress. Unfortunately, it was not the dress for her. Yesterday, Wednesday 2/8/2023, I began the return process by requesting a return shipping label. My request was denied. Apparently, buried on their website is a 3 day return policy. I immediately contacted representatives at Terry Costa and was told that I should have read their return policy, which was on their return and exchange page before completing my order. According to this policy, I had 3 days to request a return label and then 3 days after that to ship the dress back. I explained to them my situation to no avail. At that point in time I had the dress just 7 days including a weekend. It was never worn, the tags were still on it and it was carefully boxed and ready to be shipped that day. All I needed was a label. I was told that since they work 7 days a week, they could have processed my return, so weekends count and since I was at day 7 by their calculations I could not return the dress. . I reminded them that they prominently display the phrase "easy returns" all over their website and literature with no mention of a 3-day return policy. They told me that returns are easy if you read their policy page and follow their process. It goes without saying that they were extremely rude and condescending. I feel as if I have been duped by Terry Costa and am a victim of misleading advertising. As a 73 year old senior citizen on Social Security, I can ill afford to lose $450.00. It is not an option to use the dress. I am hoping that you can assist me in resolving this issue with Terry Costa.

    I began the return process by requesting a return shipping label. My request was denied. Apparently, buried on their website is a 3 day return policy. I actually made sure I requested the return within the 3 days policy. I immediately contacted representatives at Terry Costa and was told that I should have read their return policy, which was on their return and exchange page before completing my order. According to this policy, I had 3 days to request a return label and then 3 days after that to ship the dress back. I explained to them my situation to no avail. At that point in time I had the dress just 3 days including a weekend. It was never worn, the tags were still on it and it was carefully boxed and ready to be shipped that day. I was at day 3 by their calculations. I reminded them that they prominently display the phrase "easy returns" all over their website and literature with no mention of a 3-day return policy. They told me that returns are easy if you read their policy page and follow their process, to which I did. It goes without saying that they were extremely rude and condescending. I feel as if I have been duped by Terry Costa and am a victim of misleading advertising. I am a single mom and just wanted to get this dress back to them within the policy. It was $850 and I really am upset that they denied my refund when I followed their policy. I was ok with the 15% restocking fee and everything or else I would not have bought the dress.I really want my dress refunded. I am very upset
