- Additional Info:On January 14, 2022, BBB NCTX identified
a pattern of consumer complaints regarding the marketplace behavior of this
company, Madeleine Creative Company, LLC, dba M Calligraphy Etc. Specifically, BBB has received complaints alleging that:
* after receiving payment, M Calligraphy Etc. fails to deliver the ordered
products, even after several assurances from the business;
* consumers allege the tracking numbers provided for purchases by M
Calligraphy Etc. do not work or are not linked to any package delivery
carrier;
*furthermore, they are unable to receive refunds after communicating with
customer service.
The business responded on February 7, 2022, stating they were having production delays for outgoing shipments, as well as fulfilling the number of product orders. Understaffing was also a stated concern the business aimed to address. The business also stated they would be pivoting from product sales to event/program functions.
BBB informed the business on February 15, 2022 they would be monitored regarding their responses to consumer complaints on file, as well as future consumer complaint volume and type.
BBB sent correspondence to Madeleine Creative Company, LLC on March 22, 2022 after records indicated no activity from the business regarding addressing consumer complaints, as well as failing to respond to BBB communications.
As of April 12, 2022, Madeleine Creative Company, LLC has failed to eliminate the pattern of complaints.
