I requested a refund for an order that had ongoing issues and was never resolved at all. I called in a requested that this refund be issued as a check for order WB00000549825 and they confirmed that it would on July 19th, 2023. Now they are telling me that the refund was sent back to my card and my card has been closed for the last month so my bank rejected the payment.Business Response

Both credits were accepted by Discover. Once a credit has been accepted by the credit card account, we are unable to access the funds to make any type if changes.

I am rejecting this response because:
I explained to them that the refund cannot be processed to my card because it was completely closed. I already contacted my card company and they have not accepted anything and they are unable to see anything on the old account as far as a refund goes. I was told that a check would be issued to me for this refund originally and they decided to go against what was originally arranged and send the money back to my closed card. They will need to reissue this refund or legal action will be taken because due to their negligence I am now at a financial loss.

Also, a credit in the amount of $74.03 was issued to the same Discover account on ******** at 8:02pm CST.
Both credits were accepted by Discover. Once credits have been accepted by the credit card account, we are unable to access the funds to make any type if changes.

I am rejecting this response because:
They sent the funds to a card that was closed and I specifically requested for the funds to be sent to me in the form of a check. They confirmed that they would be sending the funds as a check, but instead they sent the funds as a refund to my closed card. This company is completely ridiculous. They have lied to me on several occasions about receiving a callback from the executive office, and wasted now 3 months of my time over their own shortcomings in this situation. I will not stop pursuing this until this is resolved properly. You already wasted 3 months of my time doing nothing, so what is 3 more I guess.

On June 22 I purchased a Denim Vest on Neiman ****** website neimanmarkus.com - Order #WN00001400549. But the vest didn't fit, I sent it back right away. Neiman ****** received the returned merchandise on July 4th, but they won't give me the refund of $330. I called their **************** a few times. I was told they send me a Gift Card on July 6th; and I have to return the Gift Card before they give me the refund. I have never received their Gift Card, it could be lost in the mail. And I don't want it. Gift Card is a store credit, NOT the same as Refund. Their return policy on neimanmarakus.com has never specified that Customer Will Be Compensated by Gift Card. They did not follow their policy and dodge their responsibility to me as a customer. They should issue a refund back to the credit card I was using for the purchase. On July 15th I placed an order for pick up on the Neiman Marcus website. I ordered the item before 12pm for same day pick up and specifically selected the item because it was listed as in stock and available in store for same day pick up. It was needed that weekend as a birthday gift. As the time on the 15th neared 5pm I called Neiman Marcus to see what was going on with my order and was told that they don't actually have the item in stock and it was being shipped from another state and would be available some time in the next week or so. I told them that this wouldn't work for me and that I would like to cancel the order. I was told by a representative that it would be canceled and that I would be refunded. I called back the following day as I had not received a cancelation or refund email and was told that a supervisor had put in the system to issue a refund and I should expect it within 3 business days. I called again on the 20th after I still had not gotten or email confirming a refund/return and looked to see that the item had been still been shipped to my local store and had arrived that morning but I had not gotten any email to pick it up and return it or do anything. In total I have called Neiman Marcus 6 times to try to get this resolved and no one seems to know what they are doing.Business Response

I placed an online order on 6/27. I reached out to an agent on 6/30 to ask about the delivery status. I was told the item is on back order (even though on the website it says it was in stock at one of their stores.) Agent assures me item is in stock but delayed and if I wanted to keep or cancel my order. I decide to keep. On 7/19 my order was cancelled by Neiman Marcus. I reached out to ask why and new agent tells me they are out of stock. When I looked up Bergdorf Goodmans site they had the same item in stock so I asked if I could get the item for the same price I originally ordered at. Agent says they will check and then disappears. I end up getting a new agent that tells me the price was incorrect so they had to cancel my order almost a month after my order. This is false advertising. July 10, 2023 - Online Order #WN00001607322 Amount ****** Product name ******************************* Paper Towel Holder The shipping address of this package is wrong and it's different from my billing address. I tried to cancel this order within 5 mins after I placed it. They said they will handle it but they shipped it instead. Hi BBB agent, Can you help with my complaint at Neiman Marcus? I made an order onJuly 10, order number is Order #WN00001607322. Item amount is $150+tax. The shipping address of this order is wrong. I tried to cancel this order within 10 mins after I placed it. But it failed. Then I contacted their customer service agent. They said the order has already in processed and they can not change the delivery address but they can ask the carrier to cancel the delivery and send the package back to them. I said that work for me. Then on Saturday July 15, I saw the package is out for delivery. I called Neiman Marcus agent again to make sure the package will not get delivered. The agent said they did send the request to cancel and return the package that I don't need to worry. Then I saw the package was delivered to the wrong address by the end of day. I placed order WN00001564307 for a fine jewelry ring on 7/7/23. I received an email on 7/8 saying that a "Precious Jewelry Ambassador" would contact me within 2 days to complete the order. I was never contacted by an "Ambassador". Instead, Neiman tried charging my credit card several different times, sometimes for the agreed amount and sometimes for a higher amount. My credit card company blocked the transactions. I tried multiple times from 7/10 to 7/15 to contact Neiman customer service by email, and also contact by phone ************** store that they told me would be shipping the item. Neiman customer service told me again and again to call the store, and that they could not cancel the item, even though the order was placed online, *not* with the store. I tried repeatedly over the course of 6 days to get through to the Precious ************ at ******** store to ask them to cancel the order. I never got beyond an operator who told me that no one was available. It appears that NM is doing everything in their power to prevent the cancellation of this order, although I told them that I blocked their charges with my credit card company, and that I would refuse delivery of the package if they try to send it.Could the BBB *please* get NM to simply cancel this order? I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. There is incorrect information in their response, but I don't care as long as the order is finally cancelled and I have been refunded. This should have been a pleasant experience, but instead was an anxiety-producing nightmare that lasted for days, despite my numerous efforts to resolve. NM only paid attention once I had filed this complaint and wrote an online review describing the problem. Before that, I was completely unsuccessful at getting their attention to resolve the issue.

I was told to submit a request to change the refund method and that it would take another five days to process this request. I reached out via email to get further confirmation that anything was even taking place as its evident this company cannot be regarded as competent as far as returns. this is regarding order WN00001554843. I ordered a purse on 7/6/2023 at night. on the morning on 7/7/2023 i received an email saying the item was shipping. i noticed that the address was wrong. i notified neiman marcus and asked for assistance and to stop the package on 4 seperate occasions: 7/7, 7/10, and twice on 7/11. i also called neiman marcus on 7/11 and was conveniently disconnected. i also contacted ***** on 7/11 to please stop the package and there was still no solution. the package was delivered to the wrong address on 7/12. i contacted neiman marcus on 7/12 and was told by the customer service representative that i would receive a refund for this issue. i contacted neiman marcus today on 7/14 and the customer service rep told me that i would not be receiving a refund as they advised me "it was not a service error on their end". i asked for a manager and was told he couldnt transfer me to a manager. so then i called neiman marcus again and was again disconnected after being on hold for 15 minutes. i then sent an email on 7/14 to neiman marcus with no response. so yes it was neiman marcus' service error - i notified neiman marcus multiple separate times and asked for assistance with this package before the package was delivered and received absolutely no help whatsoever. then the only representative who was able to give me any information on 7/12 and told me that i would be receiving a refund im now being told that refund will not be honored. i am requesting the company do the right thing and refund my money.Business Response

I submitted a refund request for a purse that I purchased on ** online. My order number is WN00001068248 for an amount $2862.00. The item was marked as return received on June 9th & my refund is still yet to be processed. I have been told to give them another week or 2 weeks every time I reached out to their customer service via Chat/Calls. I have reached out to them at least 4 times by now.
