Thank you TEAM Resource One Credit Union for helping me set up membership and accounts today. In branch team account advisors promptly expertly answered my several clarifying questions and efficiently set up my accounts, represented my best interests, demonstrated expert banking judgement, listening skills sets, and technical ability to quickly process my application. It was easy to identify ********** ***** Branch team expresses care and concern for its clients and their interests. I felt the team took interest in my individual preferences, logistical, and financial needs. I received outstanding excellent personalized care and service from ************************************* and ***************************. I also noticed the other clients visiting the branch during my visit were themselves equally pleasant natured. If these be qualities you seek in a financial institution, then I am quite pleased to recommend highly without reservation Resource One Credit Union **********, ***** for you to explore and research. Worst bank ever!! Not notified of cards being changed from **** to *********** **** employees stated for the 3rd day they can not print new cards for the business or personal checking at all despite knofor months they were changing card holder from **** to *********** I changed my address months ago with confirmation I changed my address and the bank still sent my cards to my old address leaving me without cards to pay bills. Just received return to send cards in the bank now without receiving my business card. This is the worst bank ever. Top it off when I said me being late would hurt my credit all tje said was we are doing our best. SmhReview from Kay P

On February 22, 2023 I had use my *********** to pay off my Savings Builder Loan. They have lost my money and have not made an effort to really look into my account. I was hung up on, transfer over to Bill *** and the service for ************ told me that it was my bank. *********** provided me with a trace number and check ID number and they became quiet. No one has called me back or even attempted to help me in this matter. They keep sending me home and blaming who ever in the bank they can think of. I am emotional torn because I paid them and have now accrued interest due to them putting the money in someone else account or just refused to trace it with the proof I provided them. No one seems to want to help me and I felt that what I paid over time has been lost. This is not fair at all and I truly do not understand what happen and why no one can find the money with proof?. I get the most run around for my money because its not theirs and *********** stated that is not them at all and made sure to show me everything. The money is gone out of my account and ******************** One has yet to even help me or have a number to speak to someone to find my money on that payment to pay them off. This hurts so bad they do this and do not care and will tell you they do not care by sending you home with no help and have you worrying. Some one please help me find a number to speak to someone that can find my money so I can close my account and retrieve my money form them.Resource One Credit Union Response

On 2/17/2023 the supposedly did an update to their online system that was to be completed by 2/21. Their recording on the phone indicated that it was complete, but I cannot get any activity from them and cannot get online because they are still having problems. I went into the branch personally and was told that it could possibly be 2/24/2023 before we can utilize the information for our accounts. I had them issue me a cashier's check for $15,000 so I could move my account to ************ It is amazing that this bank can have our funds and ** not be able to get to it to make transfers, check balances, etc.Resource One Credit Union Response

We did complete a system upgrade over the weekend. Unfortunately, when larger upgrades are made, some delays are inevitable. Some members with unique situations did encounter longer delays during this time. With the info you provided, one of our team members was able to pull your account and confirm your digital banking is available.
Starting February 21, we did offer iTalk, an automated telephone banking system that allows members to access their balances, make transfers and handle other account maintenance. Additionally, our branches and Call Center opened at their regular time to assist our members with their needs. We appreciate your patience during this time as we work to make your banking experience more streamlined.Customer Response

I was not even aable to use my debit car to order groceries or anything online. They had it loccked down as well. I can't get out and go to the store, therefore I was unable to order online groceries from Friday evening, the 17th to Tuesday the 22nd. There was more that enough money to cover it. So, I had someone take me to the physical credit union to pull out $15K and move most of my money elsewhere so I could get to it when I need it. Again, getting information over the phone as far as balances and transfers did me know good because I need to get MY money for groceries. I was told my the people at the actual R1 location said that it might not be ready until Friday the 24th.Resource One Credit Union Response

Debit cards were available during the system upgrade weekend from Friday, February 17 - Monday, February 20. However, card limits were lowered slightly from our regular daily limits. During the upgrade, debit cards were set to $500 cash withdrawals and $1,200 PIN & Signature limits daily, which resets at midnight. All core systems were available Tuesday, February 21, including debit cards returning to normal daily limits. We did have a delay with a small group of members who could not access online or mobile banking immediately, which has since been resolved. PLEASE BE WARNED!!!! I truly regret doing business with Resource One in attempts to purchase commercial equipment. I've put down 30% and paid for tt&l upfront and i'm still awaiting 3 weeks for this process to be completed!! I can't move forward with getting my equipment signed on with contracting, due to me waiting on title transfer paperwork. But, you can rest assure they're gonna want my monthly payment for a purchase that's still in limbo and I have yet been able to attain any type of income, due to this matter. Throughout this process, communication has been negligent and very inadequate. I would totally advise seeking other banking institutions before dealing with these guys!!!!!Resource One Credit Union Response

This is one of the worst banks to use if you're African American and run a small business. I have a business account and was treated like a criminal while trying to deposit my weekly payroll check in my account. The encounter was so embarrassing I though it was best to the branch without and further issues. During this time the branch was occupied by other members and potential members, that were all focused on me and my situation. Long story short don't do business with this bank. They're horrible and don't respect there members of color.Resource One Credit Union Response

The issue wasn't resolved. I left the branch feeling humiliated. No manger helped me when I called customer service, they proceeded to humiliate me and give me no assistance.
