I was Leasing a car from Fair Servicing, LLC company since 2018, I notified Fair on April 25th, 2022 that i want to end my lease with them and return the vehicle. I also, informed them via email and in the app. that i will be dropping off the car to the original dealership i got the car from originally ****** ** Auto Mall, LLC at **** NJ-23, ******* ** XXXXX). I was scheduled to travel during the dates they offered to pickup the car. Then By Email, i was told that Fair will be taking care of the pickup and adjust it to pickup the car from the dealership after i informed Fair by Email of the name of the person in the dealership who i handed the keys ********** Again i was told via email that the pickup will be taken care of by Fair Servicing LLC. I dropped Off the Car to the Dealership on the Same Day April 25th, 2022. I surrendered the car plates to the DMV on 04/27/2022 (Receipt Enclosed). Then i was informed by Email late in April i believe that the lease was sold to CFAM Financial Solutions. After in June, i received a call from CFAM asking me if i returned the car or not, i said yes and i informed them that i surrendered the license plates to the DMV and that the car is at the Dealership mentioned above in Butler NJ. Ever since that Phone call, i kept receiving invoices from CFAM that i am missing my monthly lease payment. I responded to them via phone a few times and emailed to their customer service email, but was not successful to reach anyone. Finally i responded to one of their invoice emails explaining all that i have explained to Fair Servicing & wondering why Fair and CFAm didnt communicate Months ago all the details i explained regarding my car return. then CFAM responded and confirmed that they have located the car in the dealership and that they will pick it up, and i received a confirmation that the pickup has been scheduled. Today 09/01/2022 they sent me another invoice for monthly payments since april 2022. i want them to stop harrasing me.Business Response

My husband and I recently held a subscription service with fair who was sold to CFAM, our vehicle was repossessed. When we reached out to CFAM to ask about amount due we were told that even if we paid that amount we would not get our vehicle back that the agreement had been terminated, after further investigation found out CFAM is a collections agency, and not another subscription agency like we were led to believe. So we reached out to the tow yard about recovering our personal property and was told we had to pay a $75 fee, Florida law states that they cannot hold our personal items and charge for them. They stated it wasn't them charging us that CFAM was requiring the fee. Called CFAM and the agent said we can place a complaint but that the charge remains to receive our personal items. Once we calmed down and spoke to legal representatives we called back to ask how to pay and who to pay, we have been calling for a week straight, today will make day 8 and still no response from CFAM. The tow yard requires appointments than can only be made a day in advance and we don't know who to pay to get our stuff back.Business Response

I have been a paying customer to Fair.com for over a year and a half. I was assured with the transfer of their car accounts to CFAM that my auto payment would transfer with no interruptions. I am a single mother with three kids so my auto payments are important and after checking the month of transfer the payments were fine. With no Mail/Email/Phone correspondence my car was repossessed in the night on 8/21/2022 because the payments lapsed and I am without transport from a company who was in service to me for less than six months. They claim even when calmly explaining my situation they can only give me my things back and will not be sorting out my account with me. I am deeply aggravated and this is coming a very hard time when I have just learned some medical news that will also require transportation. With no further information I would like to submit a complaint to the horrible customer service and to better track anymore suspicious that might befall me from this business.Business Response

We have previously sent Mr. Lensz ****** ("Lessee") (1) an initial notice of his default and the amount of the unpaid balance of his Account on or about July 6th, 2022, and (2) a subsequent demand letter to bring his account current within the grace period set forth in the letter, the failure of which will result in the Agreement being terminated and the Vehicle being reclaimed by CFAM. . While Fair may have initially sent communication that services previously provided by Fair (including auto-pay) may continue, such continuation is predicated upon no existing default under his Agreement or any existing payment defaults being cured and brought current in a timely manner. Due to the Lessee's default of the Agreement and failure to timely make such payment in full, CFAM has terminated the Agreement on his Account and reclaimed the Vehicle.

I'm not a Mr. I am a Mrs. If any letter was sent it was not to address. All I have is the information from Fair mailed to my current address and I am sure it was passed **** to this CFAM as well. I will also show a clip of my account showing that my card was used as a reoccurring payment.

To Whom It May Concern,
CFAM acquired Ms. Lensz ******' lease on April 29,2022. Since then, CFAM hasn't received any payments on her account for the following months: May, June, July, and August 2022. That's the reason CFAM has terminated the Agreement on her Account and reclaimed the Vehicle.
If Ms. Lensz, believe our records of her payments are in error, please have her provide a record of any such missing payments for our review no later than three (3) business days after the date of this letter. Ms. Lensz can send proof of payment(s) to: ****************@cfamllc.com.

My rental vehicle was towed without any notice. I went to the Fair app and the website did not work. For me to find out the location of the vehicle WITH my child's belongings in it, I had to Google and call 311. When I called Insurance CFam, they told me that Fair didn't exist anymore and they are the ones in business. I didn't get any email, text, phone call, or any form or notification as a warning that I owed payments. This is not the way to conduct business. I was told that an email was sent to me and when I asked them to forward the email to me, my request was denied. I could not find any email whatsoever. I would please like BBB to take of this matter for me. Thanks.

This company bought my account from Fair and has never contacted me not sent me email letting me know. Than they call while I'm on vacation with a representative telling me I'm in default . Fair never called back so I was in the dark with the lease. This company has employees that barely speak English and are very rude. Don't ever use this company is I will be returning the vehicle as I've never felt with such a unprofessional company.Business Response

Mr. ******** ******* ("Lessee") called CFAM on June 17th, 2022, as he was aware that his company credit card didn't go through with his June Payment. He even asked our customer representative to give him a call back at another day to make the payment and set up autopay. We called him again on June 23rd, 2022, and no answer. No payments were made by the Lessee in the month of July, bringing the account 60 days in default.
Our customer representative called Mr. ******* on August 15th, 2022, providing him with an update of his account. Mr. ******* stated he was in Brazil and was going to take care of the balance on his returned. On August 16th, 2022, Mr. ******* called us and made two payments on his account claiming he just found about it. Clearly, Mr. ******* has been aware of the status of the account for months and his complaint is vague and without basis.
