      Date of Transaction: Aug 24th 2024 Saturday 12:35PM Amount paid: $100+ for package Service provided: Waxing Issue: My teenage daughter had upper lip waxing done with ******. She used super hot wax and ripped off so hard that my daughter ended up with pulled skin and bruises on the face. Filled a complaint with business via their website but there was no response.

      I tried canceling my membership back in 2022 via the online format on their website because I was pregnant. I never heard anything back about the cancelation and was not charged, so I assumed the membership was cancelled. Fast forward to 2024 July 14th and Depil has charged my account $160. I tried contact someone through their online format because it seems that this is the only way to request a refund, and I have yet to receive a follow up to the three inquires I have submitted thus far. So here we are, I am not submitting a compliant in hopes that someone from the company will reach out to me and rectify this situation.

      I filled out the subscription cancellation request online after getting folliculitis. I got to my appointment and was informed my waxer had an emergency and I would have to use a different person that day. I drove over 35 minutes to this appointment and was not notified of this until I got there. I now have permanent scaring due to how bad the folliculitis was and have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get the medical problem solved. Shortly after I filled out the online cancellation request I called and confirmed my subscription was/would be cancelled. Noticed while getting my bank statements together for taxes that the subscription was never cancelled and I was still being charged every month for it. I have contacted customer service as well as the ***** location. I keep getting the run around about the cancellation request and was then told they could not refund me but could give me a gift card. They also stated I signed a contract agreeing to their no refund policy when I signed up for the subscription. The only thing I did when I signed up was give them my basic information.

      I went in for a wax service on 12/7/2023. ******* was checking me out and was telling me about the wax packages they offered. I agreed to purchase 12 visits and pre-paid. ******* did not advise I was signing into a contract nor that the purchase was non-refundable. I called on 12/8/2023 and spoke with ******* and advised I wanted to cancel and get a refund. He then begins to tell me I signed a contract and since I paid in full, I can't get a refund, but I could get gift cards. I explained I wasn't going to use the service. He just repeated I signed a contract. I asked him what contract because I wasn't provided anything. I just gave my information on the form he asked me to fill out. He tells me the receipt was the contract. I had a great experience for the wax. I just want my refund for the 12 visits paid up front. I went on their business page to try to contact someone in leadership and asked ******* was there someone else I could speak with. No information was provided which is why I'm filing the complaint. Not advising someone they are signing up for a contract or going over the terms of such contract is highly unacceptable and unethical.

      My last service with Depil was in the Uptown location on August 31, 2023. I was informed that I had to go online to submit a cancellation for services since I was no longer going to be in **. My account is debited monthly and the original place in *****, ** had to be the one to discontinue my account. I submitted the online request through their website on Sept 5, 2023. My account was then debited again at the end of September. I submitted a second request on October 9, 2023 through online with the explanation that I need a refund for September payment as well. I then was debited again in October. I called the ****** ** location and spoke to the manager who said she never received anything from corporate. I explained the events described. She said my account will be suspended and not charged further but no refund would be issued because she wasnt notified. I have now been charged again in November since said account has been suspended.

      The business has been contacted several times about removal of funds for my account. They are taking out monthly fees for a service I canceled. And random fees such as a fee for 15 and 5 that I never authorized. I sent a request on line per the company, requested in person and also spoke to a manager. Now additional amounts are coming out on random days.

      I paid for a service that per the contract I was suppose to get deducted $120 a month for three months for a total of $360. Upon my third visit they stated my credit card was not saved and they had to save it again which that's why my account was charged the $120. I told them not to charge my card that day. I told them not until next week which they approved. That wasn't the case they charged my card $120 two times in less then a week. That out me in a bind with the rest of my bills. That violates there contract and I no longer trust that business with automatic payments. I would like my money back. The $360 for the entire package. I did speak with Clarisa at the corporate office and stated she would take care of it and I would receive a call back from her. That was on August 23,2022 and I haven't received a call as of today. I would like to get this resolved like she stated. Thank you.

      Our Arlington Studio Manager did make 2 attempts to reach you via the phone number we have on file but was not successful, unfortunately (please see call record attached). She will be reaching out again today to help resolve this matter.
