    This is my second review of The ********** They violated my renters rights and breached our lease agreement. I paid my deposit, set up renters insurance and utilities, signed the lease, paid prorated rent, and received a welcome letter. According to Texas law, this means I took possession of the apartment.Due to relocating from out of state, I was two days late to pick up the keys, but I had already paid all required fees. Despite this, they voided my lease without notifying me and attempted to charge a $1,236 re-letting fee, claiming I hadnt moved in. Kanku, the leasing agent, was unprofessional and stated she wasnt responsible for ensuring my deposit return.If voiding a lease over a slight delay in key pick-up is their policy, they shouldnt be renting to anyone. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone due to their poor communication, lack of professionalism, and disregard for tenant rights.

    I have lived in these apartments for just under a year. I can only speak for the building I live in which is building B11.
    During that time period, I have been dealing with American and German cockroaches nearly every week. I have asked numerous times for there to be an extermination of the entire building, but that has not been done. I have had an entire apartment cleanout and pest control comes once a week, however, it isn't taking care of the problem.
    I have emailed the leasing manager and detailed in my maintenance requests that it is a whole building issue. I can do everything I can to keep my apartment clean and free and clear of food and water sources but if they are a problem in the building, they'll keep traveling to my apartment. I have also had a carpet cleaning because I read that roaches lay eggs in the carpet and my entire apartment is carpet.
    I have been so stressed and frustrated because of this infestation. It makes me feel dirty and I don't have peace in my home. I feel that this is unacceptable and people should not be expected to live like this.
    I just need some kind of relief and some accountability for what I am experiencing.
    I would like for this issue to be resolved in the entire building and for their to be some kind of compensation for me having to live here under these conditions.

    Apartment has cockroaches that are stuck in the kitchen appliances. I have repeatedly contacted the property manager and corporate office to have my appliances replaced but have not any response. I also have pictures if needed.

    I returned home October 9th on a Sunday. 2022. At returning home there was large pieces of glass all on our stairs going up to our apartment. We live on the second floor and we are regularly up and down our stairs. We had to walk cautiously up and down our stairs to keep from being cut from the glass and falling on the glass. I went to the apartment office to report the glass on Mon the 10th 2022, but the office was closed for Columbus day. So I went back to the office on Tues Oct 11th 2022 and spoke with Heather the manager. I told her about the glass on our stairs and she told me that she would send a maintenance worker over to clean it up. He did come and clean up the glass and I found out that the glass had come from the apartment next to us when workers were remodeling that apartment and they broke the kitchen ovens glass while removing it from the apartment and cared less to pick up the glass they broke. We also have about 3 inch nails hanging loosely from the wood above our stairs that can easily fall on us. I have numerously reported it to Heather and others that said it would be taken care of and nothing has been done about it. Wed October 12 2022 our electric went off again shutting off our dryer, disrupting our cooking at that time, and disconnecting our clocks and tv. What's startling is that it has been a continuous pattern of our electric being cut off even though our electric is paid. I believe there is someone in these apartments that is illegally shutting off our electric at any hour they choose too. We have reported this several times. I have asked Heather to please put up a camera at our breaker because maintanance showed us how to cut our electric back on and if we can turn it back on anyone can shut it off. We want cameras. Our apt is the only one out of our unit being targeted with the electric being shut off. I believe theres discrimination being done by someone or people. And the office is not doing whats needed to be done,

    This business provided a refund to me for what I was owed from the deposit I paid from moving in.
    Refund was processed on 9/20/2022.
    I received the check in the mail and continued to deposit it into my bank account.
    Check was deposited on 10/4/2022. The check posted in my account.
    10/7/2022 I receive notification that my bank account is now negative due to the check being returned. The reason given by the bank is "unable to locate".
    My bank informed me to call the property of which the check was sent by.
    10/7/2022 I call the Residences of North Dallas sixteen times to receive no answer.
    10/7/2022 I emailed the Residences of North Dallas three times to receive no answer.
    10/8/2022 I receive notification that I'm now being fined by my bank for having an overdrawn balance.

    The business will not answer me and will not resolve this issue.
