Very shady They sold my son and I a car at this dealership under false pretenses, I was only supposed to be the cosigner, but for some reason they switched the paperwork to me as the main buyer, My credit score of well over 800 and I'm at a 18%interest, They also over priced the car by over $10,000 and now he can't even trade the vehicle in without taking a $7000 loss, So I called the dealership talked to **** in finance he claimed he was the acting manager, he is a finance advisor not a gm. he also laughed at me twice. When I finally spoke to a manager they promised to help me get all this situated. Well 5 months in and not even a call. I called back to **** who laughet at me again so I will not speak with him then I asked to cancel the extended warranty so I can get **** back, 2 months later no refund. call dealership talk to **** who was very impatient but did advise me all the people that worked this deal are no longer at Honda north in corpus Christi. If that isn't wierd enough I get an email from ****** advising me that the warranty would be credited by the 20th of September is now the 26th and nothing.They can't cancel any dealer add ons like paint protection which is a rag and a good wipe on car without a car wash, it is a whole debacle so make sure you price cars everywhere else before making purchase at this shady honda They did advise me they had to let go of everyone that was part of this deal, which tells me they should be working to correct this mistake.. instead they lie to me, laugh at me, and make me feel like a bad person,I have had 3 people tell me they were a gm or manager and they were not, ************ lies to you allows employees to lie to you , sell way overpriced cars and has the nerve to allow employees to cheat customer, after they fire the employees they still won't work to make it right. At this point I want a rework of the deal or an exchange.Business Response

We have refunded ********* warranty back to the lienholder and issued him a full refund back to him on his Auto ******. After speaking with ******* he said he would remove complaint now that we have resolved his concerns.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:No one has spoken to me, I am glad they have reimbursed the extended warranty since I did cancel it thru all the steps I was advised, and I'm thankful they reimbursed my son for the auto ****** paint protection, however, I was still lied too about Bieng a co-signer I was asked several times if I would be the main buyer to help lower the interest rate which is over 17% and several times I said no I do not want to be the main buyer. I only want to be a co signer for my son to help him get approved. They advised me that the interest would be much lower if I was the main buyer and I said no I wasn't to be co-signer only. Yet the contract was put thru with me as main buyer and An Interest rate of over 17% still? with a credit score above 800 is ridiculous, being overcharged for a vehicle by almost $10.000 is ridiculous. The fact that everybody who was part of the deal I was advised by the general manager was fired, is ridiculous. They know the team that made this sale was doing bad things to people and still allowed it to happen. They did not call me to fix this. I had to initiate this and I am still listed as the main buyer with santander bank who I also have a complaint again. Nothing on this deal has been corrected., other than the warrantues which i cancelled. All they have done so far is reimburse for additional add-ons. And extended warranties which I initiated by and canceled following they steps. they have not addressed the bad or illegal contract that was changed without my permission. Thank you. The general manager has not reached out to me. No one has reached out to correct the faulty contract this was put under. And my interest rate is still above 17%. And I am still listed as the main buyer on a contract when I was advised verbally and stared no. I only want to be a co-signer twice. They should have this on recordings since all their calls are recorded.

I received a mail solicitation saying that I will receive a $50 **** card for coming in and getting my vehicle appraised or taking a test drive (photo attached). I went in yesterday, may 22, 2023 and asked ****** if it was a real **** card and was told Yes. I asked what they needed from me and was told that they'd take pictures of the vehicle, which they did, and they'd get me some paperwork to fill out. So I proceeded to fill out the paperwork I was given and waited awhile for the salesman to return. When he returned, ****** told me that he had my vehicle in the system and was going to go get the gift card for me. He returns with a $50.00 North Corpus Christi Honda Gift Card (picture attached) that expires in one month.I want to receive at least the $50.00 **** card as per the advertisement. And I want to warn others about this scam.Business Response

Feb 2/20, 2023 $613.02 2014 Honda CRV I took my car in because of problem, I was experiencing with it. I did some research and found a report according to the ***** National Highway ****************************** The problems described in the report are exactly like the problems my car is having. I provided a copy of the report because the report states if the problems are caught early, the be problem can resolved. The report also provides how to resolve the problemsI received a call from the Service Manager, ***********************. He tells me the car needs new spark plugs and the fuel injectors need to be clean. The cost will be $613.02. He assures me this will take care of the problem. I agreed too have repairs done because I have an extended warranty on the car. I did not agree with him because I never neglect the tune *** on the car. I asked him if he had reviewed the article I provided him. He told me "no, that they do not pay attention to reports from the internet.On Feb 6, 2023, I pick up the car. The Service Manager, *********************** assures me he has driven the car and it drives fine and the problems I was experience are gone.On 2/20/2023 I called the Service Manager, *********************** and left a message the car was still having the same problems.On 2/23/2023, I take the car back to North Corpus Christi Honda. I explain the problem again and show the report. on 2/24/2023, the Service Manager calls me and tells me the repairs have been done and the car is ready. I pick it up and the car is still showing the same signs as the report. I sent him a text message.On 2/26/2023 I am driving to ******. The transmission is shuddering so i was stopped at the truck stop because i did not want to drive it.On 2/27/2023, I called the Service Manager, ***********************, and explained the same problem. He had the car towed to the dealership. At approximately, 9 am, I stopped by and talked to him. We reviewed the report again At 3:21 pm, I sent him a text message to see inquiring. about the car. At 3:35 pm he responds to me and says he sent me a video to watch. I never received the video. At 4:10 pm he sends me a text informing me the problem are my breaks. The cost to repair the breaks will cost me $700.Business Response

The bulletin referred to by ******************* is speaking to the *** actuator. Upon diagnosing the issue she brought the vehicle in for, this was not the problem. The hestitation was caused by misfire on cylinders 2 and 3. The *** was working properly. After replacing spark plugs and cleaning the injectors, the misfire was gone. The bulletin also refers to transmission shuddering at low speed. The way to fix this is to have a transmission service. She declined this service.
Our service manager personally drove her *** and it was operating properly.
******************* picked up the *** and was driving to ******. She called the service manager and explained the car was doing the same shuddering. A tow truck was dispatched to pick up the ***.
Our service **** had done the transmission service recommended by the bulletin free of charge, as well as the reprogramming of the TCM. This was done on February 23, 2023. This was done for ******************* free of charge in the interest of customer satisfaction.
******************* was also told that some of the shuddering was possibly due to a brake issue. When our service manager drove the *** he noticed a brake pulsation. ******************* once again declined this service.
Upon review of the ***** bulletin, again with ******************* it was explained that the *** actuator was working properly. If the *** actuator goes out the vehicle goes into safe mode and you cannot accelerate. This is not what happened to ******************** She was just feeling the brake shuddering. She told our service manager that the vehicle did not stop, but she did not want to keep driving it.
