    I went to Shaffers Muffler and Automotive because I needed my left front outer tie rod replaced. I also needed a 4-wheel alignment. After this repair and service didn't solve my issues, I drove my car straight to ******* for a 2nd opinion.I explained what happened, and ******* immediately put my car up on a lift. It was obvious at that point that my left front outer tie rod had never been replaced. In fact, the bolt was stripped! How can you do a 4-wheel alignment when the left front outer tie rod is broken? My wheel actually physically wiggled back and forth.So, I took my car back to Shaffers and explained what we found. I expected *******************, the office manager, to look into the matter, but he just on the spot began defending the mechanic. I originally thought that maybe the mechanic stripped the bolt and failed to tell ****************. I found it odd that **************** didn't even want to take a look before he had an opinion. His "opinion" was that it didn't happen.At that point, I emailed the owner, *********************************, and asked for his help. His wife acknowledged receipt of my email, and said he would be in touch. He never was "in touch".This shop not only operated risked my safety, they charged me for services not rendered and inflated my labor charges. If you love a woman, young person, or an elderly person; don't send them there. They will take their money and lie straight to their face.
