Couple of Things to Know About This Company before you decide to patronize them with your business. 1. On-line reservations are NOT actually real reservations, and will NOT hold your rental. You have to actually go into the facility and book the rental and pay. If you don't, that online reservation means nothing as someone else can book and pay in person and take your reservation from you. That is what we were told by the cusomer service person at the facility. 2. The 'military' discount is for active duty AND deployed service members ONLY, and we were initially told that the service member had to be physically present to sign the paperwork at the facility. This is hard, if not impossible, to do if the service member is actually deployed. One wonders if the company actually know what deployed means, or is simply attempting to give the impression that they offer military discounts. After discussing this issue with a manager on the phone to find out if they truly offered military discounts, we were told that it COULD be done online as well' however, the process was murky. We left wondering if a military reservation online would actually work, since a regular reservation online was essentially worthless. 3. When we called to discuss pricing and discounts, we were told they could only do this in person at the facility. So we checked their hours of operation and arrived at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the rental specifics. There was a 'CLOSED' sign on the front door, and a clock that displayed "back at 2:15 p.m." Since it was already past 2:15 p.m., we called them on our cell phone to be informed that we should simply wait outside the store another few minutes. After ten minutes an employee drove up and let us in. This seemed rather sketchy. Also, outside the facility were several homeless people who were loitering and acting strangely (talking to the air and waving their arms as if doing magic tricks for an imaginary audience. This really freaked out my daughter. 4. Any other discounts you may see on their website may very well not actually apply to your rental, as when you inquire in person you will be told, "The discounts are only specific to certain locations" i.e. NOT the one you are at. This is actually a new twist on 'bait and switch,' and is blatant deceptive marketing. So we won't be utilizing these folks for any storage rentals, and BUYER BEWARE of these folks.
